'Win Win' Trailer Beats The Love Into You

Paul Giamatti stars as a schlub again, but this time wrestling is involved. Paul Giamatti stars as a schlub again, but this time wrestling is involved. With Win Win, director Tom McCarthy (The Visitor) "explores the depths and nuances of human relationships in a film about the allegiances and bonds between unlikely characters." Sounds like the stuff any decent movie should have. If you want to pack 'em in, mention more half-nelsons in the synopsis, Apple. Giamatti plays a down on his luck attorney and high school wrestling coach who finds star athlete potential in a drug addict's abandoned son. Cue the heart warming nuances. Now cue the junkie mother returning to eff up a good thing. Damn these depths and allegiances that are so thoroughly explored! You make me want to be a better man. Or exploit a kid who doesn't know any better.

Uwe Boll Surprisingly Not Involved In 'Mortal Kombat' Web Series

The Mortal Kombat spec short that appeared online, seemingly out of nowhere, is laying the ground work for a 10-episode web series. The Mortal Kombat spec short that appeared online, seemingly out of nowhere, makes a little bit more sense now. However, Bloody Disgusting has the tip on exactly what it was and where it will go. Apparently, that bad-ass short was a primer for a 10-episode web series that is scheduled to start filming in Vancouver in February. Vancouver's beautiful in late winter, so at the very least the cast and crew will get to enjoy some Yukon beauty. The spec short was made for $7,500, with much of the cast and crew's time donated to the cause. Michael Jai White will be continuing his character from the spec throughout the series. As disposable as most video game film franchises are, especially those from a concept that peaked in popularity in 1994, the spec job looked pretty amazing, so bring on the webisodes. As for the R-rated feature reboot, it's unclear how this project will affect that development, if at all. The cast of characters is expected to include Shang Tsung, Liu Kang, Sub Zero, Durak, Kabal, Kitana/Mileena, and Scorpion. If you have no idea who these people are, ask your 11 year-old self. I'm sure he remembers. Cross your fingers that the producers go overbudget by getting a little overzealous with wanton use of ripped-out spines.

New 'Project X' Trailer Features A Dog In A Moon Bounce, Wins Me Over

That dog knows how to party. Test audience reactions to the Todd Phillips produced Project X has been positive, proclaiming it the "best party movie ever." But that's only because no one has ever filmed my partys. The buffalo deviled eggs are off the hook, guys. Those familiar with the project know that director Nima Nourizadeh cast relative unknowns for the story of high school nerds who become legendary after throwing the most epic party. How epic? Hot chicks, at least one dwarf, tasers, flame-throwers, and not to be overlooked, a little dog in a moon bounce. The dog alone sells me. Is it too late to get him a Golden Collar nom? Another audience member referred to it as "Superbad on crack." Hey, let's all go out and try some crack. It looks awesome! (Coming Soon)

'Wheel Of Fortune; Savant Wins $91K Solving Puzzle With Only One Letter

Clue: Crappy Johnny Depp movie. All hail our new intellectual ruler, Matt DeSanto. Mr. DeSanto managed to solve a Wheel of Fortune puzzle after getting only one letter provided for him in the first puzzle. Sure, it would make it more dramatic if this was that last puzzle thing with the RSTLNE's all picked for him, but if that was the case, he would have had a few more letters to work with. Matt said that he credits his huge performance (he solved almost every puzzle offered) mostly to luck, but he's been watching the show since he was 5, which couldn't have hurt his performance either. HOWEVER, he managed to get the final puzzle wrong, which a) sucks for him but b) makes his $91,000 take all the more impressive. Matt DeSantos, you weirdo game show guy, we salute you.

'Smashed' Trailer: Aaron Paul And Mary Elizabeth Winstead Get Wastypants

Look at her drinking in the shower and riding bikes and playing pool. She's the perfect girl! Until she decides to throw all of that away like a fool. And that's the plot of Smashed. Winstead and Aaron Paul redefine their relationship when they agree to give up drinking and drugging and, in her case, make-up as well.
