Watch The Original '30 Rock' Pilot Starring Rachel Dratch As Jenna

Is like watching TV in an alternate dimension. Where they speak English. Beamed to us from the same alternate universe where Eric Stoltz played Marty McFly in BTTF, comes this original, unaired 30 Rock pilot starring Rachel Dratch in the role of Jenna, before she was replaced by Jane Krakowski. The decision to recast was made when NBC decided to scale back the in-show sketches and go with a more traditional sitcom actress. But Fey wanted to keep her buddy in the mix so decided to have Dratch play a different character in each episode which is a really fun idea like when Loo-Kee would hide in the background of She-Ra: Princess of Power episodes. Only difference is Loo-Kee didn't get totally f*cked by the execs at Filmation.

Watch ’30 Rock’ In Animated Form

Alec Baldwin looks better as a toon. NBC apparently isn't content to have "30 Rock" simply be a live-action cartoon - they want to turn it into a literal cartoon as well. And lucky you, you can watch it right here. This cartoon, which is the first in a planned series of three, features Alex Baldwin as the Bugs Bunny to NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams' Elmer Fudd. An animated version of"30 Rock" is making me wonder about other TV possibilities - a cartoon short based on"Boardwalk Empire," perhaps. Or maybe a live-action "Archer." These are all great ideas, I hope I get paid when they happen. (Vulture)

Tina Fey's 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' Has A Trailer For Netflix

If you can survive a doomsday cult, you can probably hack it in the Big Apple. After flexing its muscle in the realm of drama, Netflix has decided to lighten up a little with the weird, sometimes-funny cartoon BoJack Horseman and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt from the mind of Tina Fey and starring The Office's Ellie Kemper. Judging by the trailer, the series skews a little more "feel good" than 30 Rock ever did, but that may just be the face the producers want to put on the series. Let's hope that it plays to the weirdest sensibilities of its star and its creator, lest we're left with another generic "girl steppin' out in the big city" show. You'll probably see some familiar faces, including Jane Krakowski, who probably couldn't play straight if her life depended on it. This could be a good one. (Deadline)

Fox Is Now Making A Pilot Based On Rivers Cuomo's Return To College

He even lived in a dorm room. How bohemian! A few months ago, we had reported that Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo had sold a comedy script based on his life as a rock and roll frontman and noted geek. It wasn't all that big a deal because scripts get bought and sold all the time. But now Fox is taking thing a few steps further and putting up some money to turn the script into a pilot. After the pilot is made, execs will review it and decide if they want to go to series. So we're now one step closer to a Fox comedy series about the life and times of Rivers Cuomo. They can even call it that, The Life and Times of Rivers Cuomo. We're also learning a little more about the show. It will be called DeTour and will focus on the time between 1995-2006 when Cuomo would take time off from Weezer to study at Harvard. Man, that DOES sound like a sitcom that would get picked up. The 'Hitman: Agent 47' Trailer is Here Because We Learned Nothing From the Original 'Hitman'

Someone put a bullet in this franchise already. "He’s stronger, faster, more intelligent than other people." So sayeth Spock (Zachary Quinto) about midway through the first trailer for Hitman: Agent 47, a.k.a the reboot of the movie no one wanted to see when it starred someone we actually knew back in 2007. Clearly, Quinto was not referring to anyone involved in this ill-conceived remake while delivering that horrible line of dialogue, as the trailer for Agent 47 manages to cram more cliches into two and a half minutes than its box office bomb of a predecessor was able to do in an hour and a half. A slow motion, CGI gunfight set to one of today's most popular songs? Check. A woman swimming topless in a pool? Check. Oh, and did I mention that Zachary Quinto delivers the line "He’s stronger, faster, more intelligent than other people" with 100% seriousness? Because yeah, that too. Check out the trailer for Hitman: Agent 47 above. It looks like a pile of sh*t, but plenty of things 'splode in it.

'Goonies' Director Richard Donner Says There Will Be A Sequel With Original Cast

The guy who played Sloth, an actor named George Clooney, hasn't confirmed this yet. The Goonies will be back, or so says original director Richard Donner, whom TMZ accosted while he was signing autographs. In no uncertain terms, Donner says in the video, "We're making a Goonies sequel." When asked if the stars will return, he responds, "Hopefully, all of them." Sure. Good luck fitting it into Corey Feldman's filming schedule these days. CAUTION: You have to put up with some stupid incendiary babble from the TMZ video guy to get to the point.

Jenna Fischer Attempts Maximum Quirkitude In 'A Little Help' Trailer

Jenna Fischer stars as a newly single mom, whose lousy ex-husband Chris O'Donnell dies and goes to Bat Heaven. I think the handwritten lettering they use in all trailers for indie movies must be called "MandatoryQuirkyTitle Font" or something. Once you see that title style, you know you've got to unfold your lawn chair and watch the quirk parade. In the trailer above for A Little Help, Jenna Fischer stars as a newly single mom, whose lousy ex-husband Chris O'Donnell dies and goes to Bat Heaven. Now she's got to raise an eccentric kid all by herself, and there's a pretty funny 9/11 subplot. I realize that might sound awful, especially the way I phrased it, but it works in the trailer. She also falls in love with her ex-high school sweetheart, who's also her sister's husband, which I'm sure won't complicate matters at all. Personally, I like Jenna Fischer and could stand to see more of her, in non-Pam Halpert roles. Will this Michael J. Weithorn (King of Queens) directed fil break her out as a movie star? I don't think so, though I'd definitely buy a ticket if she re-wears her Blades of Glory attire in the movie. That's-a nice-a outfit.
