Watch 'The Last Thing You See' Supercut Of Final Shots From Movies

Spoiler 'lert. Zach Prewitt cut together a mess of the final shots from several movies to create his latest supercut. The result is pretty moving and well laid out. Give it a watch if you feel like spoiling every movie ever for yourself. Except Deuce Bigalow. The sanctity of that film's resolution remains preserved.

See A Trailer For 'Doctor Kong', Maybe Get Laid

“I’m playing Donkey Kong so I can get laid." Ever since the popular documentary The King of Kong, America has been clamoring for more documentaries about weirdos who play "Donkey Kong" too much (also movies with "on like Donkey Kong" on the poster). And now, as if in response to that great national call, Doctor Kong: Cutting Up The Competition is loosed on an unsuspecting world. This particular weirdo is Hank Chien, a plastic surgeon who recently got the world record "Donkey Kong" score, making him Donkey Kong World Champion, or something. This title seems to change hands a lot, so I'm not sure who the actual reigning champion is. Chien seems like a really cool and likable person, so I bet this movie will be fun to watch while it slowly gets released as the year goes on. Anyone want to come over and play "Donkey Kong" with me after the movie? I'm not talking about the video game, I mean for real. I have a ton of barrels. And a hostage. (via /Film)

Anyone Else Got A Bad Feeling About This Supercut Video?

See, that's what all the characters in this video say. Duh. It's always fun to see countless uses of a movie trope laid end-to-end, to prove to us just how frequently films go back to the same well of cliches. This time around, a Copon Films supercut gives us a look at every time a character informs the audience or other characters that they've "got a bad feeling about this." Most of the time, the shit goes sideways and they were right to have a bad feeling. Life is tough that way. That's one thing Hollywood gets right. The futility of existence. I'm rambling at this point. Watch the video. I've got a good feeling that you'll like it. (You see what I did there.) (Laughing Squid)

‘The Adventures of Tintin’ Teaser Has A Whole Mess Of Danger

The lines are so clean! Here's the first teaser trailer for Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin, without its Secret of the Unicorn subtitle. I have to say, I'd been looking forward to this movie. I think the comes by Hergé are fun, filled with the kind of action and set-pieces that make great adventure movies. And who better to direct that kind of throwback action picture than Steven Spielberg, who pioneered the form with Raiders of the Lost Ark? I was even the slightest bit optimistic about the infamous motion-capture animation, because I thought Spielberg, producer Peter Jackson, and co. would be able to do away with the creepy dead-eyed uncanny valley effect I'd grown accustomed to. I'll still go see the movie, but this teaser has diminished my optimism significantly. All the shots without people look really cool - a 3D shiny interpolation of the art of the comics. But the characters all have those lifeless eyes, like a doll's eyes, chief. Remember Jaws? Sigh. Below is a poster for the movie as well, which also attempts to hide those dead-eyed stares.

A Fun Shot-For-Shot Remake Of 'Top Gun'

Iceman was gay. There. I said it. Everyone likes Top Gun. Except the anonymous fighter pilots who flew on behalf of an indeterminate evil country, somewhere over the Indian Ocean...present day. However, Tom Cruise's couch jumping and general weirdness may have tainted one of the defining cinematic works of not only the 1980's, but maybe the entire Cold War. That's right. I'm lumping Top Gun in with The Godfather, Dr. Strangelove, and many other far better films. So, without Tom Cruise's pervasive taint, we offer the final dog fight of Top Gun, with Cruise Control intact. Oh, and it's homemade, or, as we like to call it, "artisanal."
