The teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises premiered before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two over the weeekend. We have it here for those who didn’t rush to see magical dandy square off against a noseless man.

The trailer picks up with Commissioner Gordon in the hospital with kidney stones. As he lay in pain, he implores that the Batman must return as his crotch is killing him and he can’t possibly fight Tom Hardy‘s Bane in that condition. Well, that was my takeaway. It’s a fool’s errand to try to decipher Nolan’s intent. (The Dark Knight Rises)

    Strange that they would name the film with Bane in it as “The Dark Knight RISES”, seeing as how bane ends Bruce Wayne’s career as Batman.  In my opinion, they should’ve made the villain Mr. Freeze.  His tragic backstory would fit well with the new style that Nolan is conveying.

    if you watch the trailor and previous movies he quits being batman. this is about him rising to save gotham once again. the trailor says this is the end of a hero. plus nolan said this would be his final batman movie. so why put freeze in this and not have a true conclusion to his trilogy

    Bane doesn’t end Bruce Wayne’s career as Batman at all. Read the Knightfall arc before saying anything. Yes he breaks his back, but Bruce becomes Batman again.
