See The New Red-Band Trailer For 'Rubber' With Multiple Head Explosions!

Won't you help against the scourge of murderous telepathic tires? The best killer-tire movie of the first part of 2011 is Rubber, and it's been getting a lot of buzz for the way it illuminates the killer-tire problem that exists in the American southwest. You can inform yourself well in advance of the film's April 2nd release date by watching this new red band trailer. It's even kind of tame as red band trailers go, so you might be able to get away with watching this at work. Here's a plot synopsis:
RUBBER is the story of Robert, an inanimate tire that has been abandoned in the desert, and suddenly and inexplicably comes to life. As Robert roams the bleak landscape, he discovers that he possesses terrifying telepathic powers that give him the ability to destroy anything he wishes without having to move. At first content to prey on small desert creatures and various discarded objects, his attention soon turns to humans, especially a beautiful and mysterious woman who crosses his path. Leaving a swath of destruction across the desert landscape, Robert becomes a chaotic force to be reckoned with, and truly a movie villain for the ages.
Enjoy, and thank you once again for your small part in the fight against killer tires. (via /Film)

‘Rubber’ Looks Like This Year’s Best Killer Tire Movie

This concept has been done to death, but when it comes to movies about killer tires, Quentin Depieux's Rubber is the best of the bunch. This concept has been done to death, but when it comes to movies about killer tires, Quentin Depieux's Rubber really sets the bar. In this new trailer, we meet Robert, an abandoned tire who roams the desert leaving a string of dead bodies in his wake. All in all, this looks like a fun film. I have no idea how this idea a) was imagined, b) was deemed suitable to film, c) hasn't won the Pulitzer. Look for it really hard in theaters starting April 1st.

Exclusive: The 'Wanderlust' Red Band Trailer Is Here

Watch it. Wanderlust, staring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston, hits theaters Friday, February 24st. But, in order to hold you over until then, we've got the exclusive red band trailer, and it's literally got something for everybody. If for some reason you're not a fan of laughter, you'll still be able to enjoy the naked breasts and implied bestiality. And let's not forget the psychedelic drugs. See, something for everyone! The Judd Apatow produced film (directed by David Wain) tells the story of a couple from New York who flee the city in search of something more. What they end up finding is a commune full of promiscuous hippies. Compare that to what the travelers found in The Hills Have Eyes, and I think it's safe to say the Wanderlust characters really lucked out.

Saw V Red Band Trailer Will Make You Cringe

SEE THE FULL POST FOR THE RED BAND VERSION. Nothing helps a Friday afternoon go by faster than some fictional torture. Once you get past the age gate (I know, I know) you'll be treated to one of Saw's trademark traps. After watching this, I've decided that, should I find mysel in a trap like this, I'm just going to sit there and let it kill me. SEE THE FULL POST FOR THE RED BAND VERSION. I can barely handle the pressure of ordering at the drive through let alone deciding between my limbs and my life.

New Tim And Eric Red-Band Trailer Has Profanity, Robert Loggia

One of them bangs a sex doll. Take a look, why don't you? Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job are making a movie, a fact to which readers of this site are probably hip. What they (you) may not know is that Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie features some sick stuff that these two let out when the lax Standards and Practices guys at Adult Swim aren't around to crack the whip. What kind of sick stuff? Oh nothing really, just disgusting things like JEFF GOLDBLUM and ROBERT LOGGIA! Forehead dildos, and JOHN C. REILLY! Can your stomach take it? I have to cram this piece with as many jokes and one-offs as possible in the hopes of weaseling out of establishing a narrative based on this trailer, a feat that is downright daunting. If someone would like to take a stab at explaining this film in the comments, that would be pretty cool. In the meantime, let the weirdness and profanity wash over you in a soothing wave, with the knowledge that, soon, the weekend will be here.

'Operation: Endgame' Red Band Trailer

Where in the hell did the movie Operation: Endgame come from? It stars Rob Corddry, Zach Galifianakis, Maggie Q, Adam Scott, Ving Rhames, Ellen Barkin, Bob Odenkirk, Brandon T. Jackson, Jeffrey Tambor, and Odette Yustman. I'd watch that cast wallow in used diapers for 90 minutes. The action-comedy follows two teams of government spies pitted against one another. Of course, most of the men are inept and the women are smokin' hot ass-kickers, but the jokes play. Unfortunately the film is being dumped to DVD, which I find hard to believe considering it stars the now "it" comedian Galifiankis. Maybe the world just isn't ready to see him engage in espionage. ‘Drive Angry’ Red Band Trailer Assaults Your Brainhole

There is a red band trailer for 'Drive Angry 3D', and you are going to watch it. Or Nicholas Cage is going to murder you. Here's a newer, dirtier look at OSCAR WINNER (remember?) Nicholas Cage's Drive Angry 3D, the actor's latest insane collection of explosions, awkward sex scenes, and ultraviolence masquerading as a film. I mean, seriously, I could probably write in binary for three paragraphs and you'd still watch the embedded video. What's the point of trying to sell you on the plot, which is inconsequential, or the cast, which, while boasting the talents of William Fitchner and Amber Heard, are just window dressing that hang around while things explode, curse, die, and have sex around them. The film opens on February 25th, and if it's anything like this trailer, it's going to be totally insane. (The Playlist)

You'll Probably Want To Watch This 'Red Tails' Trailer

Did George Lucas make a good movie? He made an awesome trailer at the very least. The trailer for the  George Lucas-produced Red Tails opens with World War II fighter pilots getting shredded. Which looks pretty spectacular, I have to say. That's where Terrence Howard and the Tuskegee Airmen come in. The legendary group of African-American combat pilots fight through red tape in order to escort bombers to their targets. The real star of the trailer are the visual effects, but it seems like they did the Airmen's story justice as well. It's directed by Anthony Hamilton (The Wire, Treme) and stars Howard, NeYo, Andre Royo, Nate Parker, David Oyelowo, Cuba Gooding Jr., Bryan Cranston, and Method Man to name a few. If only they had cast Chris Rock to humorously point out the different ways in which white people and black people fly.

The New 'Jonah Hex' Trailer is a Tired Rehash of the Original

Megan Fox (Left) speaks with Edward James Olmos (Right) between takes. If the latest installment of the Jonah Hex trailer series is any indication, Hollywood is officially out of ideas. The original trailer, which premiered last month, told the story of the upcoming Jonah Hex movie staring Josh Brolin as the titular cowboy bounty hunter who straddles the world of the living and the dead. The trailer also featured Megan Fox and John Malkovich, and was cheered by fans and critics alike for its non-stop action and witty dialogue.Although the new trailer features the entire original cast, the sequel squanders any good will earned by the first installment. It is nothing more than a tired rehash of its predecessor, devoid of any original ideas whatsoever. Brolin, Fox and Malkovich should be ashamed to be associated with this transparent marketing ploy which seems to have the singular purpose of selling movie tickets to eager fanboys.Watch the pathetic new Jonah Hex trailer after the jump.

'The Sitter' Red-Band Trailer

This trailer reminds me of my babysitting experiences, only this video has slightly more Method Man. Slightly. Why would anyone hire Jonah Hill to be a babysitter? I don't want to judge on appearances or anything, but he's just got one of those faces that makes him look like he is always overwhelmed. When it comes to babysitters, I want someone who looks a little more like Daniel Craig than Jonah Hill. But that wouldn't be very funny, so the producers of The Sitter went with Jonah Hill. In the red-band trailer, Hill plays his normal goofy self, only this time he is responsible for the lives of small children, which is actually more sad than funny if you think about it. Nah. It's still more funny. The Sitter boasts a pretty awesome cast featuring Sam Rockwell, JB Smoove, and Method Man, but it would appear that Hill is the star of the show. Will his good intentions keep him out of trouble? Apparently not. NOTE: For some reason, there is a little bumper preceding the trailer that's pretty funny and shows a Jonah Hill that's lost about 100 pounds. You won't miss it, but it's worth calling out.
