'Oz: The Great And Powerful' Trailer Gives Us An Origin Story, Mila Kunis

Really great, but only sorta powerful. This much-anticipated Sam Raimi film appears to be everything that we would like a Tim Burton film to be. It's got great effects that seem relevant to the story. It's got central characters that aren't played by Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. It's got a story, though somewhat familiar, that seems pretty damn crafty and fun. I don't want to get too gushy about a trailer, but Oz: The Great and Powerful looks as though it's oozing originality. And how could it not? It's got Franco!

'Goonies' Director Richard Donner Says There Will Be A Sequel With Original Cast

The guy who played Sloth, an actor named George Clooney, hasn't confirmed this yet. The Goonies will be back, or so says original director Richard Donner, whom TMZ accosted while he was signing autographs. In no uncertain terms, Donner says in the video, "We're making a Goonies sequel." When asked if the stars will return, he responds, "Hopefully, all of them." Sure. Good luck fitting it into Corey Feldman's filming schedule these days. CAUTION: You have to put up with some stupid incendiary babble from the TMZ video guy to get to the point.

Watch The Original '30 Rock' Pilot Starring Rachel Dratch As Jenna

Is like watching TV in an alternate dimension. Where they speak English. Beamed to us from the same alternate universe where Eric Stoltz played Marty McFly in BTTF, comes this original, unaired 30 Rock pilot starring Rachel Dratch in the role of Jenna, before she was replaced by Jane Krakowski. The decision to recast was made when NBC decided to scale back the in-show sketches and go with a more traditional sitcom actress. But Fey wanted to keep her buddy in the mix so decided to have Dratch play a different character in each episode which is a really fun idea like when Loo-Kee would hide in the background of She-Ra: Princess of Power episodes. Only difference is Loo-Kee didn't get totally f*cked by the execs at Filmation.

'Submarine' Trailer Breaks Hearts, Lifts Spirits, Changes Lives

Writer/Director Richard Ayoade, best know as Moss from the UK sitcom "The IT Crowd," has put together a first feature that looks pretty fantastic. No Hyperbole! Okay, well, maybe a little. Writer/Director Richard Ayoade, best know as Moss from the British Channel 4 sitcom "The IT Crowd," has put together a first feature that looks pretty fantastic. If the trailer is any indication, Submarine should have film lovers, cinema majors, and quirky, multi-colored font enthusiasts jumping for joy. The film, about a 15 year old boy coming of age amidst first love and divorced parents, features original music by Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys, and is executive produced by Ben Stiller.

The New 'Jonah Hex' Trailer is a Tired Rehash of the Original

Megan Fox (Left) speaks with Edward James Olmos (Right) between takes. If the latest installment of the Jonah Hex trailer series is any indication, Hollywood is officially out of ideas. The original trailer, which premiered last month, told the story of the upcoming Jonah Hex movie staring Josh Brolin as the titular cowboy bounty hunter who straddles the world of the living and the dead. The trailer also featured Megan Fox and John Malkovich, and was cheered by fans and critics alike for its non-stop action and witty dialogue.Although the new trailer features the entire original cast, the sequel squanders any good will earned by the first installment. It is nothing more than a tired rehash of its predecessor, devoid of any original ideas whatsoever. Brolin, Fox and Malkovich should be ashamed to be associated with this transparent marketing ploy which seems to have the singular purpose of selling movie tickets to eager fanboys.Watch the pathetic new Jonah Hex trailer after the jump.
