'Parks And Recreation' Gets You Excited With Some Olympics-Themed Promos

Yes, I know the Olympics are over, but it's 'Parks and Rec', so we cut them some slack. Can Tom Haverford pin Ron Swanson in the wrestling event? Spoiler: Absolutely not. But if that sounds like something you might be interested, you will probably want to watch this video. And if you are on board with the video, you'll almost certainly just fall in love with the two videos that are located right here. It's over a month before we'll see Parks and Recreation coming back, so trust us...you need this.

Try to Remain Strong And Brave During The Trailer For The Final Season Of 'Parks And Recreation'

The future is weird, and a little gimmick-y. At the end of last season of Parks and Rec, we saw the gang fast forward about three years into the future. We caught the life of Leslie and Ben, now the parents of toddlers, but most of the rest of the cast was unaccounted for. That got fixed in a hurry with the show's trailer for its final season. In this future Pawnee, we see that Tom Haverford has become a mogul of some sort, Andy has a TV show about ninjas (?), and Jerry is now Terry. We could have predicted that last one. And here's what likely happens to Ben. Other than that, there's still no sign of April or Ron, but we're betting they're up to something fun as well. Maybe they've just been sitting silently in a room for the past three years.

Andy Dwyer Battles A Killer, Mutant Dinosaur In 'Jurassic Parks And Recreation'

Now I'm disappointed Chris Pratt isn't playing Andy Dwyer in 'Jurassic World'. This took longer than it probably should have to show up online but it was the holidays, so give it a rest already, okay? Here, Jurassic World and Parks and Recreation are inevitably awkwardly mashed together because Chris Pratt is in both of those things you see. Still, I'd love to watch any form of entertainment about Andy Dwyer battling a killer, mutant dinosaur. It's fan-fic heaven.

It's The Best Of 'Parks And Recreation's Perd Hapley. YA HEARD?

This story of this article is that Perd Hapley is a badass. FINALLY, we've got a compilation of the greatest moments of Parks and Recreation's favorite semi-retarded news anchor, Perdric L. Hapley. And, shockingly enough, it comes to us from NBC. So come relive your favorite moments, and know that even if you're not the sharpest tool in the shed, you can laugh at a joke without getting it just by recognizing its cadence. If you have no idea what that last sentence means, you need to watch this video, stat.

Rob Lowe Goes Postal On The Set of 'Parks & Rec'

Rob Lowe, a late addition to the cast of NBC's "Parks and Recreation" has just been informed that the show has been off the air for months. This angers Rob Lowe. And you wouldn't like Rob Lowe when he's angry. Rob Lowe, a late addition to the cast of NBC's "Parks and Recreation" (he came on well into season two), has just been informed that the show has been off the air for months. Rob Lowe doesn't like it when his perfect face has been off of TV screens for months. This angers Rob Lowe. And you wouldn't like Rob Lowe when he's angry."Parks and Recreation" returns to NBC Thursday January 20th at 9:30pm, right after "The Office." (Warming Glow)

'Parks And Rec's Ben Wyatt Gets Pretty Excited About The 'Game Of Thrones' Throne

The headline is a bit of an understatement. In case you didn't know much about Adam Scott's Ben Wyatt on Parks and Recreation, here's a rundown: He's a nerd. *End of Rundown* He really likes Game of Thrones, claymation, comic book characters, and Letters to Cleo. I guess on some level, we all do, but he takes it to a new level. If you are in doubt, check out this clip in which Leslie presents Ben with a pretty awesome gift. (She sure does have some serious reach for a small-town bureaucrat.) Ten bucks says Andy cuts himself on one of the throne swords.

You Want 'Parks And Rec' Film Reviews From Perd Hapley? You Got 'Em Right Here.

MY SIDES! THEY HURT! Not from laughter, mind you, but worsening pancreatitis. This Parks and Recreation blooper reel from last season is pretty much pure gold. Not "pure gold" in the sense that you could make a watch out of it, or horde it when the Syrians overthrow our government, but pure gold in the sense that, if you like Parks and Rec, you'll really enjoy the humor of these ridiculously likable characters and actors. Peep the very beginning at least when Chris Pratt tries to talk like an old person. And then stay for Perd Hapley.

Nick Swanson To Strip For Charity

You're gay if you DON'T want to see this. That's just what I feel. In case Katy Perry, Al Pacino, Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, Jack McBrayer, Bill O’Reilly, Amy Poehler, Seth Rogen, Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Sudeikis (who's banging Olivia Wilde, which puts him in a whole other realm of respect), Anderson Cooper, Jimmy Kimmel, and Julianne Moore weren't reason enough to turn in to Comedy Central's Night of Too Many Stars, there's one more name that puts the sum of all those others to shame. Yup. Ron Fuckin' Swanson. Nick Offerman. He'll be raising money for autism (against autism, actually) and for every $1,000 he receives, he'll get a little more naked. What's not to like? Charity, Nick Offerman, burly, mustachioed nudity. This program is shaping up to have it all.

Check Out This Supercut Of Blockbusters, Recreated Using Only Stock Footage

See if you can even notice a difference! Wouldn't it be great if we could make our own Hunger Games without having to even pick up a camera? Surely, someone's already captured on film something close to our vision, so why recreate the wheel? At least, that's the thinking that went into this supercut of blockbusters that have been recreated using stock footage. It's amazing how close you can get to the actual work! (No it isn't.) Take some delight in knowing that this cut was actually assembled by Dissolve, a stock footage company. They stand behind their principles. Anyway, it's Friday. Turn off the thinking cap and enjoy.
