'Man Of Steel' Trailer Blasts Off

And demolishes everything in sight. In this first full-length trailer for the Christopher Nolan-produced, Zack Snyder-directed Man Of Steel, we get a glimpse of some of the events that have caused Superman to pull a Wolverine. In this look, we see a young Clark Kent use his powers to rescue a classmate, only to be warned that mankind won't accept him for his abilities. We also see Superman CRACK AND SPLINTER THE GROUND FROM THE FORCE OF TAKE-OFF. And that just leads us into all kinds of Metropolis getting the sh*t beat out of it. Well done.

Honest Trailers: 'Man Of Steel'

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's the ass-trouncing this film deserves!! Superman is the hero that every kid looked up to, until Man of Steel made him into a mopey, violent a-hole. But hey, at least "he's kinda hot!" We set our laser eyes on this summer's most debated tentpole film that took a comic book institution and crumbled it to the ground like so many Metropolis sky rises. It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a f*#% you to the fans!!

'Man Of Steel' Teases Us With Very Little Man-Of-Steeling

And it condones hitchhiking. The teaser(s) for Zack Snyder's Man of Steel have found their way online and all of online is all like, 'What the Hell?!" Instead of seeing a super-powered man throw around cars hide his identity behind stylish frames, we see him working on a Deadliest Catch boat while he gets some dadly advice from his biological, Russell Crowe.  Those scenes must focus on the year he decided to find himself and act like Wolverine. Second teaser below because the first one wasn't Kevin Costner-y enough.

'Bob's Burgers' Season 5 Premiere Trailer Reminds Everyone That 'Bob's Burgers' Still Exists

Don't forget about 'Bob's Burgers', animation fans! Amid the hubbub of The Simpsons return to glory and its crossover episode with Family Guy, Fox and Bob's Burgers would like to remind you that, hey, Bob's Burgers is coming back, too. And to drive the point home, they've unleashed a trailer (via Vulture) that STRONGLY suggests a 1980's-themed musical from our main man, Gene. Bob's, in classic cartoon fashion, has embraced musical pieces as a cornerstone of its premise. And it works out well, even when Linda is singing in shrill, tone-deaf, keyless shrieks. Actually, it works best that way. The series premieres at 7:30 this Sunday night. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available.

How To Fix 'Man Of Steel 2'

If it's broke, fix it. As divisive as Zack Snyder's Man of Steel was, it might be time for the producers to re-evaluate the film and its context before getting busy with the sequel. Fortunately, they don't have to go it alone, as The Screen Junkies Show is here to help with suggestions from a very, very animated and impassioned gentleman, as well as one who is capable of remaining a little more composed. If the studio and production team follows these tips, Man of Steel 2 will be the greatest film since Soul Plane.

Third Trailer Proves That Yeah, Okay, 'Man Of Steel' Will Be Awesome

This is the one we've been waiting for. Thus far I've been approaching Man of Steel with trepidation. On the one hand, Christopher Nolan. On the other, Zack Snyder. That means the film has the potential to be one of the greatest superhero films of all time. Or at least, one of the greatest superhero film trailers of all time. At any rate, that trailer has arrived. And it delivers. It's definitely a moodier take on Superman but it's also guys fighting the sh*t out of each other in mid-flight. Bravo.
