After a rough day of work, or 10 hours of XBOX, it’s good to know that you always have TV to show some awesome slowmotion face slapping, and an over the top adventure TV movie to make you so comfortably numb.

This is a show where they basically slow stuff down. If you like this clip, you’ll probably enjoy the following at a fraction of normal speed: a movie fight scene, a cicada, a rattlesnake, bowling, martial arts, tap dancing, body modification, and a firecracker exploding in a wine bottle. Next week I hear it involves women on trampolines.

The Librarian: The Curse of the Judas Chalice 10/9C on TNT

Plot goes like this: An Indy-esque librarian goes on vacation, only to end up joining forces with a sultry jazz singer to rescue a scientist and save a Chalice from getting into the hands of a legendary vampire. Yeah it’s a TV movie, but is is good escapist adventure. And instead of Harrison Ford, you get the dude from ER (Noah Wyle). It’s worth checkign out.
