Is It Hot In Here Or Is It Just This 'FIFTY SHADES OF GREY' TRAILER?

The time is now. After the waiting, all that time spent not reading the book, politely reporting on casting shakeups, we've got definitive proof that Fifty Shades of Grey is coming our way, this Valentines Day. The proof is this sexy trailer set to a cover/remix of Beyonce's "Crazy in Love," a song that's now 11 years old. Yup. The trailer touches on only the broadest points of the story (reporter, sexy billionaire, f*cking) but it gets the message across. And after dutifully looking it up, because I assumed a movie this mass-marketed would be rated PG-13, it seems the producers are being a little more aggressive, giving us an R version and an NC-17 version, both of which better have lots of breasts. Enjoy the trailer, you perverts.

Michael Shannon Is More Troubled Than Normal In 'Take Shelter'

Michael Shannon has decided that he's going to ride this wave of playing troubled, intense men until it breaks. Did you ever think to yourself, "What if they made a movie like Evan Almighty, but it wasn't completely terrible?" Well, Michael Shannon and the team behind Take Shelter addresses that very question. In this haunting slice of Americana (which is a little reminiscent of M. Night's last decent film Signs) Shannon runs a lower-class rural household faced with myriad problems. However, his priorities fall under scrutiny as he builds a storm shelter after repeated visions of an apocalyptic storm. See? It's just like Evan Almighty. Or "the story of Noah" if you want to harken all the way back to Evan's source material. Of course, no one plays "intense" like Michael Shannon does, so it should be fascinating to see how he channels a man obsessed. The fact that he just looks like a Dust Bowl-era farmer to begin with only sweetens the deal.

Michael Shannon Creeps The Bejesus Out Of You In 'The Iceman' Trailer

He'll kill you, then he'll read his kids a bedtime story. We've seen how disturbing Michael Shannon can be as a G-Man in Boardwalk Empire, and as a family man in the indie film Take Shelter, so it should be no surprise that when he goes full evil, it's a spectacle to behold. Such is his role in The Iceman as Richard Kulinski, one of the most notorious hitmen of all time. Good rule of thumb: Never cross Michael Shannon. Don't even talk to him. You'd probably be safer petting a wild tiger. Take a look.

8-Bit Ripley Looks Totally Hot In Lost 'Aliens' Game

If you owned the classic Nintendo in the 80s and love 'Aliens,' your jaw will drop at this game project that got lost in space. There's a lot of talk now about the new Alien-ish movie. However, if you owned the classic Nintendo in the 80s and love Aliens, your jaw will drop at this game project that got lost in space. In 1987, Japanese game publisher Square, who later created the RPG series Final Fantasy, which we're sure has inspired more than one chocobo furry sex orgy at Dragon*Con, got the license to make an Aliens game. Unfortunately, the game was never released on the NES, only on the Japanese Famicom Disk System. The recently rediscovered game is documented in the video above from 1up. It shows us what we've all been missing. The biggest thing, in my opinion, is the super-sexy Sigourney Weaver sprite. She has ducked and float-leaped into my heart. If the 8-bit version of Ripley came into my bedroom wearing a pink jump suit and big boots, brandishing a laser gun, I wouldn't turn her down. Maybe that's partly because of my fear of laser guns, but still. 5-year-old me would have declared 8-bit Ripley his girlfriend, and once again, nobody would talk to me at recess. (1up)

Here's A Pretty Awesome First Look At Netflix' 'Wet Hot American Summer' Series

It's the first day of Camp Firewood, and H. Jon Benjamin is here to narrate. We knew Wet Hot American Summer was coming to Netflix. Now we can confirm that the bat-sh*t crazy foundation of the original is still in place thanks to this fake promotional video that shows us what's in store for the gang at Camp Firewood. Does it hurt that it's narrated by H. Jon Benjamin? No. No it does not. Here's the clip: Yup. That brief little cutout was a throwback to the Michael Ian Black/Bradley Cooper lovemaking scene from the film. A nice little piece of fan service, which is important, because I'm not sure this is going to find a new audience given its weirdness.

Hot Girl Halloween Kills Supercut

Horror movies sure do like to kill off young women. If you're anything like me, you enjoy watching beautiful young women being systematically stalked and violently dismembered like they're nothing more than a piece of beef. Wait a second; I don't like that at all. But some people must. How else do you explain this supercut of hot girls being snuffed out in slasher films? It's not like we had a shortage of content to choose from. Sometimes it's more humorous than scary, and sometimes it's downright disturbing. But no matter which way you slice it, almost every horror movie has at least one hot girl getting murdered. Well, if you're bored with seeing hot chicks getting butchered, it's time to take matters into your own hands. No, I'm not telling you to start killing women I am, however, telling you to check out's Halloween Scare Contest, where you can enter your own scary video for a chance to earn up to $1000.
