New ‘Green Hornet’ Trailer Busts Out Kato-Vision

The new theatrical trailer for The Green Hornet has a lot going for it. It's got lots of guns, cool cars, some hot chicks, and even a few jokes thrown in for good measure. But what most impressed me about the trailer was the "Kato Vision." The new theatrical trailer for The Green Hornet has a lot going for it. It's got lots of guns, cool cars, some hot chicks, and even a few jokes thrown in for good measure. But what most impressed me about the trailer was the "Kato-Vision." Apparently, the Green Hornet's trusty sidekick, Kato, has the ability to see things in super-slow motion. This allows him a distinct advantage when fighting villains. I'm not sure if all Asians have this power, or just Kato. Either way, Panda Express has seen the last of me. The Green Hornet buzzes into theaters January 14.

Two Comedians Eat, Drink, And Bust Balls In 'The Trip'

It's kinda like going on a 70-minute road trip with two hilarious British friends. It's exactly like that, actually. The Trip is essentially a movie about two comedians hanging out. Shot as a BBC miniseries, a camera crew followed around Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, as they adopted amplified versions of their personas for the cameras. (Think "Curb Your Enthusiasm," but good-natured.) The miniseries has been boiled down to a 70-minute documentary/feature that follows the duo around as they tour England, eating, drinking, and doing nothing in particular. No word on when, if ever, the full series will come stateside. In meantime enjoy some killer impressions over dinner. The Trip hits theaters June 10. "She was only 16 years old." (Watch it. You'll see.)

The 'Ghostbusters' Re-Release Trailer: Because Bustin' Makes You Feel Good

...and the Ray Parker Jr. royalty checks will once again flow freely. A lot has been made about the third installment of the Ghostbusters film, which has been teetering on the edge getting made for about ten years now, despite controversies about the cast and script. Let's go back to a film we can all agree on. Let's go back to the original Ghostbusters, to be re-released for its 30th anniversary this Labor Day. Does it hold up? Maybe. It's still pretty funny, but man, does that movie look OLD. Take a look and see if this piques your interest.

‘Hell On Wheels’ Gives AMC Its Own ‘Deadwood’

Revenge, Railroads, Native Americans: Yup. It's a Western all right. AMC is not content sitting on their goodwill for one second, choosing to forge ahead with original programming occupying every genre on God's green earth. Today's dispatch is from AMC's Department of Western Affairs - "Deadwood" Division. Premiering late this year, "Hell on Wheels" follows a Confederate soldier, played by Anson Mount, heading west to find the Union men who killed his wife. Who knew that revenge would play such a big theme in a Western? Oh. Everyone. Costarring in "Hell on Wheels" are Common, Dominique McElligott, Colm Meaney, Ben Esler, Philip Burke and Eddie Spears. Cause really, who could possibly imagine the Western frontier without Common? Draw your own conclusions from this trailer, but only after I give you mine. It looks 100% percent like AMC's version of "Deadwood." Which is by no means a bad thing, but also not as pleasantly surprising as "Walking Dead,""Breaking Bad," or"Mad Men." Much like I think of"Boardwalk Empire" on HBO, this show will probably turn out very well, but with few surprises. Anyway, that's my inference from 90 seconds of video. What thinks you?

Get Wholesome With The 'Good Old Fashioned Orgy' Trailer

The secret to orgies is to offer only light finger foods so people aren't too full to bang. Learned that one the hard way. A whole mess on funny people are gettin' together, and they're all gonna bang each other in A Good Old Fashioned Orgy. Why they're having the orgy isn't important. They're doing it to save a rec center or for the Red Cross, or something. What's important is that they're doing it. And if you're at all familiar with contemporary comedy, you're going to notice at least a handful of the cast. The film boasts Jason Sudeikis, Will Forte, Lucy Punch, Leslie Bibb, Lindsay Sloane, Tyler Labine, Lake Bell and Nick Kroll as its principals. And while I can't say I'm eager to see all of them naked, it's a pretty crack squad of comedic actors, so let's bust out the KY and just ask questions later. A Good Old Fashioned Orgy opens September 2nd.
