New TV Spot Reveals How ‘Green Lantern’ Might Be Awesome

Yeah, sure. It looks like 'The Mask', but at least it doesn't look like 'Son Of The Mask'. There's a new TV spot for Green Lantern that would like to remind us how the movie is actually awesome and how much we should avoid that first trailer. There's space and stuff now and the Lantern displaying gatling gun-producing powers that look like something out of The Mask. There's also the dulcet timbre of Michael Clarke Duncan, who has loaned his voice to the reptilian bull dog-faced alien Kilowog. Which I'm sure he took as a compliment when offered the gig. Either that, or a casting agent got elbow dropped through a coffee table.

'X-Files' Teaser: Don't Stop Believin'

The truth continues to elude. After nine seasons on television and two forgettable movies (something with bees, I think?), The X-Files is back on Fox for a limited series this January. Although brief, this trailer picks up with Mulder, Scully, and the "I want to believe" poster all these years later. Times have been tough on the poster as we now see it discarded on the ground and trampled upon. Perhaps this season takes place in a college dorm where one student is ready to finally have girls start staying over.
