Kevin Bacon Shows His Skills In New ‘X-Men: First Class’ Trailer

Umm... cool power, Kevin Bacon?? With the Internet just filled to the fucking brim with X-Men: First Class trailers, stills, and posters, it was only a matter of time before we got to see Kevin Bacon's Sebastian Shaw use his mutant ability. Which apparently is to blossom into a fireball and grow a lot of arms. Umm.... didn't see that one coming. It's definitely not as cool as some of the other powers out there. Like Magneto, the guy who does stuff to magnets. Or Mystique, who can turn into anyone she wants including the guy who does stuff to magnets. Or Super Mario when he catches an invincibility star.

Stuff Another New ‘X-Men: First Class’ Trailer Into Your X-Hole

Mere hours after releasing a US trailer, Fox has released a new international trailer with some previously unseen footage peppered in. That was Quicksilver fast. The movie X-Men: First Class is using its mutant power of releasing multiple versions of its trailer in the same day to... do exactly what I just said. Mere hours after releasing a US trailer, Fox has released a new international trailer with some previously unseen footage peppered in. If you were wondering whether mutants and humans were gonna collide politically and philosophically in X-Men: First Class, this trailer is your definitive answer. Of course, given that pretty much every X-Man everything is about mutants and humans colliding, the extra lines of dialogue here aren't much of a reveal. Also, why is the international version of the trailer plottier? I guess us dumb 'mericans can't handle too many extra purty soundin' story-words. James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender star as younger, cuddlier versions of Professor X and Magneto. You can see them and all your X-Friends unite in theaters June 3, 2011.

‘X-Men: First Class’: First Trailer

Our patience has paid off. Finally, a good look at the swinging 60's of X-Men: First Class. Not to mention the little outfit that Matthew Vaughn convinced January Jones to slip into. Fox kept us waiting with another Facebook debacle, but our patience has paid off. Finally, a good look at the swinging 60's of X-Men: First Class. Not to mention the little outfits January Jones was convinced to slip into. X-Men: First Class takes us back to the early days of the X-Men where you should pretty much forget everything you saw in the other movies. Beast and Mystique are kids, Wolverine is nowhere in sight, and your girlfriend wants to do it with Professor X now. Is that the Brave New World that Charles Xavier dreams about?

New Trailer For ‘X-Men: First Class’ Has Actual New Material

Mutants! Check out a new trailer for X-Men: First Class. And unlike some of the previous X-Men: First Class trailers, this one actually has a lot of new and cool stuff. We get more of an idea of the plot, which has the X-Men working with US government against commies in some, presumably ass-kicking, capacity. There's also a glimpse of Hank McCoy's transformation into The Beast, and some other stuff too. I'd provide my readers with more of my insightful commentary but instead I'll leave some of the surprises of the trailer for you to discover. You're welcome!

Professor X Schools The CIA In This 'X-Men: First Class' Clip

In case you didn't know by now, the big takeaway from this clip is "don't eff with the X-Men." James McAvoy is bringing the cool to a character we already know to be pretty damn powerful: Professor Xavier. I don't want to give too much of this X-Men: First Class clip away, but rest assured that the X-Man puts those Washington stuffed suits in their places with a little help from Mystique, played by Jennifer Lawrence. And if they can "wow" Oliver Platt into uttering a dumb little sound byte, then all the better. The further along this marketing campaign gets, the better and better this film looks. Job well done, Fox marketing team.

Spot The Differences In New Int. ‘X-Men: First Class’ Trailer

Another day, another 'X-Men: First Class' trailer. In a stunningly innovative new marketing strategy, the people at 20th Century Fox are releasing commercials for their upcoming blockbuster X-Men: First Class called "trailers." These trailers have generally been high-quality (unlike the "posters"), and create an atmosphere of anticipation for the movie. Nice work, 20th Century Fox! This trailer pretty similar to the last one, but there are a few surprises. And maybe particularly sharp-eyed viewers will be able to pick out even more. And if we have any visitors whose mutant power is that they can spot differences in similar movie trailers, it'll be like you're watching two completely different things. I don't think we have many of those though.

‘X-Men: First Class’ Int. Trailer – This Time In English

This time you don't need subtitles! If you're one of the many who are eagerly anticipating X-Men: First Class, the 60s throwback X-Men movie that features Professor X and Magneto as babies young men, you probably watched the Russian trailer that was released a while back, even though it's not in English. Now, your perseverance in the face of a world that hates and fears you has paid off, since the international trailer has been released - it's just like the Russian one, but in English. So, enjoy this trailer, with all its dramatic scowling and January Jones. You've earned it, bub.

See Yet Another ‘X-Men: First Class’ Character Trailer

This trailer might make Mystique lose some of her mystique. Here's another "character trailer" (for lack of a better term) for X-Men: First Class that follows in the tradition of the three from yesterday. I'd assumed that the whole point of these trailers was to introduce audience members to unfamiliar characters, but this one is about Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), who would be familiar to anyone who saw any of the first three X-Men movies. Anyway, here it is, with what appears to me to be a lot of footage from yesterday's Beast trailer. If you don't understand what Mystique is about by now, maybe the X-Men movies aren't for you.

See A New Russian ‘X-Men: First Class’ Trailer, Tovarisch

X-?????? ????????????? ???????! As we get nearer and nearer to the first day of X-Men: First Class, picking over every trailer and TV spot for new information will become a summer pastime, like drinking ice cold limeade and playing tether ball, or whatever it is that people do. So why not get a taste of that sweet summertime action now, with this Russian trailer? It has a lot of new footage that wasn't in the previous American one - for instance, you can see the character of Banshee, as played by Caleb Landry, using his mutant "sonic scream," which is cool. And you can maybe learn a little Russian. This is what we in the industry refer to as a "win-win." (via The Playlist)
