...And Now 'Hunger Games' Gets Its Honest Trailer

This 'Hunger Games' trailer will leave you "thirsty" for more. Puns!!! The shakey-cam, the blurriness, the bad writing may have been forgiven by audiences during its theatrical run, but once the dust has settled (and Break can get its hands on all the footage), Hunger Games may not get the trailer it needs, but the trailer it deserves. To the credit of the parties behind the trailer, we're all pretty excited that at least this film isn't about gay vampires. Or regular vampires. Or former presidents that are vampire hunters. So here you go. Your criticisms have been heard and noted. And put into a mock trailer. You DO have a voice.

Here's The Official Final* 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1' Trailer

*If this turns out to be the actual final trailer, I will eat my own butt. Not really gonna sell this "final" trailer too much, because the nice thing about the Hunger Games and Jennifer Lawrence is that they pretty much sell themselves. We just provide them a forum. As you've probably gleaned from the 21,000 trailers since the Comic-Con premiere, we've got an angry Katniss leading a revolution against The Capitol. We've got a posthumous Phillip Seymour Hoffman making a heartbreaking appearance, and we've got Donald Sutherland being So. Upset. By. These. Damn. Rebels. You're going to see the movie. Maybe on opening night. Probably opening night. Go see the movie opening night. You're not doing anyone any favors by being contrarian. (THR)

Hey! The Full Trailer For 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay' Is Here!

Let's light this candle. When we last left our fearless leader Katniss, she was getting pretty steamed that the government had destroyed her town. Now, in the trailer for Hunger Games: Mockingjay, she has been rescued by the rebels and was getting ready to take on the guv'ment, including that evil president, Donald Sutherland. Since then, we haven't gotten much in the way of narrative for the next installment. We're not big readers here, so we depend on these trailers. We got a couple teasers around Comic-Con, but that's about it. So here we go. The full trailer. Probably one of several, but it shows us what we're in for. Katniss doesn't seem to be alone. She's got a handful of her Hunger Games contestants with her in rebellion. The president is still a shit, and Peeta seems to be working for the Capitol. Well, that's a lot to take in. Just watch the trailer.

Here's The First Teaser Trailer For 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2'

A preview to the conclusion of the saga. After three installments, we're reaching the end of The Hunger Games story. The Capitol is up to their usual horseshit, and the resistance has only gotten stronger, with Katniss helping lead the charge against them. This is a teaser in the truest sense, in that we don't get one damn image from the film, but just some dialog from earlier installments, and I"m guessing some from the new one. Well, consider me teased. We've got pretty much the same cast of characters coming back, so I don't think that visuals would give us that much more of a clue as to what's going on, but it would be funny if we learned that Woody Harrelson got a face tattoo or something. That would be a fun little spin on his character. We'll just have to wait for the images to see if that ridiculous notion gets incorporated into the film. (THR)

'Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' Trailer Is Heavy On The Tension

In which Katniss graduates from icon to military general/politician. Let's begin to say goodbye with the first trailer for the final installment of the Hunger Games franchise, coming out November 20th. If you remember where we left off, Katniss and the rebellion were at a tipping point, and it looks like they're finally about to tip in this trailer. We don't see much of the climax of the scenes, but we see a lot of tension building. I have a feeling Katniss and the gang might find their way out of this one, but I'm sure there will be a casualty or two along the way. Here's the clip: Boom. Say goodbye this Thanksgiving. (Deadline)

The Victors Must Be Eradicated In 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Trailer

It ain't easy being famous in the Districts. Jennifer Lawrence is back as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Since we last saw Katniss, she's now famous for proving her efficiency at murdering teenagers as well as her talent for putting a middle finger in the face of the Capitol. This doesn't sit well with Donald Sutherland's cartoon-evil President Snow and he intends to do something about it. Like beating random old men in front of hundreds of witnesses. That's really going to hurt the old man vote. Though the real news here is the addition of Philip Seymour Hoffman to the series. He steps in for Wes Bentley as Plutarch Heavensbee, the new Head Gamemaker tasked with killing off Katniss and the other victors. Regrettably, he doesn't wear a silly wig or beard. I guess there's only so much money the studio could drive up to his house.

Peep This: Jennifer Lawrence In 'The Hunger Games'

Katniss shows off her hunting skills. Though Jennifer Lawrence couldn't make it in person to feel Beyonce's baby bump at the MTV VMA's, she was able to send over the first clip from The Hunger Games. The highly-anticipated adaptation of Suzanne Collins' bestseller is currently filming but Lionsgate was able to drop a quick scene of Lawrence's Katniss stalking around the forest with bow in hand. Ready to hunt or be hunted. Meanwhile, co-star Liam Hemsworth provides a voice-over pep talk reminding her not to get killed. Then flaming trees fall before her at every step. Who is she hunting? Dragons??

'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1' Trailer Makes Us All Want To Revolt

You didn't think Comic-Con would come and go without at least a little something from The Hunger Games, arguably one of the biggest franchises in the world, did you? Of course you didn't. Thy would never do that. So they gave us a one-minute teaser for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 that offers up a surprising amount of imagery, but waits until the very end before giving us the Katniss reveal. As fans would expect (that haven't read the books) the last two entries dispense with the concept of The Hunger Games and pretty much chronicle the rebellion, as when we last left our heroes, the games had ended prematurely and Districts were being set ablaze. Expect more significant trailers soon in anticipation of the November 21st premiere.
