'Hunger Games" Meets 'Pac-Man' In 'Maze Runner' Trailer

At which point exactly in the near future are we legally allowed to hunt teens for sport? Dystopias continue to be shitty places to live for young adults in the first trailer for The Maze Runner. Based on the bestselling novel, teenagers are pitted against an elaborate series of death traps and things that want to bite them until one special teenager is selected who is really good at running through mazes. Bet you weren't counting on that, huh, shadowy maze makers?

8-Bit Ripley Looks Totally Hot In Lost 'Aliens' Game

If you owned the classic Nintendo in the 80s and love 'Aliens,' your jaw will drop at this game project that got lost in space. There's a lot of talk now about the new Alien-ish movie. However, if you owned the classic Nintendo in the 80s and love Aliens, your jaw will drop at this game project that got lost in space. In 1987, Japanese game publisher Square, who later created the RPG series Final Fantasy, which we're sure has inspired more than one chocobo furry sex orgy at Dragon*Con, got the license to make an Aliens game. Unfortunately, the game was never released on the NES, only on the Japanese Famicom Disk System. The recently rediscovered game is documented in the video above from 1up. It shows us what we've all been missing. The biggest thing, in my opinion, is the super-sexy Sigourney Weaver sprite. She has ducked and float-leaped into my heart. If the 8-bit version of Ripley came into my bedroom wearing a pink jump suit and big boots, brandishing a laser gun, I wouldn't turn her down. Maybe that's partly because of my fear of laser guns, but still. 5-year-old me would have declared 8-bit Ripley his girlfriend, and once again, nobody would talk to me at recess. (1up)

'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials' Trailer Shows Restraint By Not Using That Smashing Pumpkins Song

Despite all his rage, he is still just a rat in a cage. The sequel to last year's hit, The Maze Runner, frees our teenage heroes from the Dystopian maze that tried to murder them and takes them on an all expenses paid trip to San Francisco. Unfortunately, it's all a desert now and also trying to murder them. This time, Game of Thrones' Aiden Gillen joins the series as the adult trying to kill children via elaborate traps and experimentation after they escape his compound and flee to the outside world. But what is the outside world for young adults than just a really big maze, y'know?

Painfully Meta 'Girls' Season 4 Teaser Takes Hannah/Lena Out Of NYC

If you think too hard about the layers, you'll get a nosebleed. Now that the dust has settled around HBO's Girls, the program has sort of become just another show on TV. Which probably isn't great for ratings, so in a move to shake things up, the show is sending Hannah to the University of Iowa to become a grad student. In this trailer, we see Hannah pleasantly riding a bike, then, in typically Hannah fashion, crashing it and eating shit. As she lays lifeless, we see the filming crew emerge yelling "Ms. Dunham" as they swap Dunham out for a stunt double. It's all a bit too much to want to read into, so I'm not gonna. TL; DR: Girls is coming back in early 2015, Hannah is in Iowa, and that's that.

We Now Get 'Se7en' Remade As A Fake 8-Bit Video Game. Hurray!

"8-Bit Kevin Spacey" is the name of my noise rock band. We're playing a show next week. You should totally come. I don't know what's so funny about seeing complex films juxtaposed against the simplistic plots and graphics of 8-bit films. Wait. Yes I do. It's what I just said. That's why they're funny. The guys behind 8-Bit Cinema have done it again, this time by taking the dark world of David Fincher's Se7en and giving it the NES treatment. Though, to be fair, this looks a little more like SNES 16-bit graphics, but I'm not here to upset the apple cart. Just watch the video. It's very funny to watch two noir detectives investigate heinous crimes in such a ridiculous context. I wish this was a real game.

Cold Winds Are Rising: 'Game Of Thrones' Teaser Trailer

The bitch is back. Tonight, for a brief moment, I was saddened by the fact that season two of Boardwalk Empire was drawing to a close. But as much as I love the show, the new teaser trailer for the second season of Game of Thrones made me forget all about Nucky Thompson and his prohibition-ear cronies. After all, bootlegging gangsters don't hold a candle to knights, White Walkers, and newly hatched dragons. Upon rereading that last sentence, I finally understand why I didn't get laid until my late 20's. At any rate, the trailer features a voice over from a new character, Stannis Baratheon, rightful heir to the Iron Throne. It also features all your old favorites, as well as your least favorite, Joffrey. However, the clip featured no exposed breasts, which seems to be a drastic departure from season one. Watch for yourself.
