For Those Who Patron The Theatre

Hollywood (finally) starts her engines for the Holiday run of big blockbuster films. This weekend, check out Keanu doing his expressionless schtick as Klaatu, an Alien who warns the people of Earth about their wrongful stewardship of planet Earth, and their imminent doom. For less destruction and more drama, Ronald Howard comes out with a new film about a British journalist who interviews a post-watergate "Tricky-Dicky" Nixon.

The Day the Earth Stood Still

Yesterday, this movie (along with the Curious Case of Benjamin Button) garnered the most award nominations from the Golden Globes. It's good. Go see it.
