Hear ODB's 'Mister Ed' Audition Tape

He didn't nail it. Back in 2004, Fox ordered a remake of Mister Ed to pilot. The project ultimately was not picked up but its rumored that Ol' Dirty Bastard auditioned to voice the talking horse. Now bask in the glory of that recording. Please note, he didn't get the part. (Dangerous Minds)

Watch Tertiary Muppet Dr. Teeth Get Down To ODB's 'Shimmy Shimmy Ya'

Everything you need to know is there in that headline. Adam Schleichkorn has made a (weird little) name for himself by mashing up Muppets with hip-hop videos. But I guess it's working on some level, because a) we're talking about him, and b) his latest outing is pretty damn fun. Thanks to the work of some very conspicuous slo-mo, Adam is able to get resident Muppet pianist Dr. Teeth (?) to sing along with none other than Old Dirty Bastard. It's not exactly kid-friendly, but it's not exactly NOT kid-friendly. However, I wouldn't show it to my kids. Here it is: (A.V. Club)

Rainn Wilson Plays The Ole' 'Quirky, Misanthropic Savant' In Fox's 'Backstrom' Trailer

It's about time someone played that sort of character. Rainn Wilson has been more or less quiet since walking away from the role of Dwight, killing all those spinoff rumors. But now he's back. And, thanks to the braintrust behind Bones, he's playing a pretty cliche character in Backstrom. Yay! He's genius detective who drinks, smokes, and plays by his own rules! Just like every other detective on TV these days. However, this is Rainn Wilson, and Rainn Wilson is funnier than most of the other actors on TV, so hopefully, this can outperform what it is on paper and really do him some justice. But, judging by the trailer...maybe not?

Full 'A Deadly Adoption' Trailer Nails The Lifetime Style

It actually looks like a bland and toothless thriller so congrats to all involved! The news that Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig would be starring in an almost-below-the-radar Lifetime Original Movie was funny in and of itself. But now it seems that the casting is the only joke. The first full trailer for A Deadly Adoption plays it pretty straight, with the cast flexible their cheesy basic cable drama muscles instead of hamming it up for laughs. It actually looks like a bland and toothless thriller so congrats to all involved!

Ed Harris Walks It Out In New 'The Way Back' Trailer

Personally, I don't even like walking to the TV when I can't find the remote, let alone across a tundra, desert, and over mountains. But I guess that's what seperates me from the Ed Harrises and Jim Sturgesses of the world. In this new trailer for Peter Weir's The Way Back, we follow a group of soldiers imprisoned in Siberia. Deciding that prison sucks because it's too cold and they're tired of watching one another sh*t, they team up to escape. And then they walk really far. Through the Arctic, the Gobi desert, and over the Himilayas. Why though? Was the prison really looking that hard for them after a few days of searching? They probably could have just moved a few towns over and grown mustaches. Dummies. Walk it out after the jump...

Mumford And Sons Have A New Video With Jason Bateman, Jason Sudekis, Will Forte, And Ed Helms

Can these guys be a band now? It would appear that now even Mumford and Sons is in on the whole "Mumford and Sons is ridiculous" joke. However, rather than change their ways and putting on a genuine persona, they apparently will continue to dress like Victorian barbers, but will just be winking at everyone the entire time. Ugh. The video is funny, but the fact that the band produced it sort of creeps me out. It's nice to see the comedians in a natural state of slackerdom, rather than all clean shaven and proper, but that's as much praise as I'll give. Ok, fine. Ed Helms' face is hilarious when he's singing real close to Jason Bateman's.

Arnie Returns Tough As Nails In 'The Last Stand' Trailer

He is back. If anyone thought that politics made Arnold Schwarzenegger soft...yeah, maybe. But private live in Brentwood has brought the action-film icon back to his old self, if this trailer is to be believed. And why wouldn't you believe a red-band trailer? The film comes from South Korean director Kim Ji-woon, who scared the bejesus out of us with I Saw the Devil, so those who are quick to dismiss this film as mindless action might want to take in a screening of that before being so quick to judge. But before you go to your local video store (HA!), check out the trailer for The Last Stand.

Ultimate Fantasy Franchise Showdown!

There can be only one. What is the greatest fantasy franchise of all time? And don't say, "That's subjective." It's not. I know that because the Screen Junkies Show addressed the question and got a definitive answer that you must agree with. What is it? You'll have to watch. And subscribe to the YouTube channel. Ok. You don't have to do that. But you do have to watch. We feel like that would be meeting us halfway, and we're all about equity. Complain about our conclusion in the comments or on our YouTube page.
