Find Out Why 81 Movies Are Called That In Two Minutes

Oh, THAT'S why it's called that. All movie fans long for the moment when the movie's title is spoken in the dialogue. I always get really excited when I can sense that it's coming, and when it does, I tend to freak out and throw popcorn everywhere. Suffice it to say, by the time this video was over, I was calf-deep in popcorn and drenched in sweat. Anyway, the video is pretty cool/funny, which is what you want in a supercut. I think my favorite one is "Back ... TO THE FUTURE!" about 17 seconds in just because Christopher Lloyd is so committed to saying it. (via BuzzFeed)

There's Justice For All In This 'Better Call Saul' Music Video

Toe tappin'. Better Call Saul show creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould proved that, in addition to amazing television, they can also write a catchy diddy. The pair penned the lyrics to this song from Junior Brown that runs down the types of scumbags that Saul is going to probably allow to walk free. Congratulations are in order for Saul Goodman. It takes a special kind of TV attorney to inspire a ballad. And this one is even better than Ozzy Osbourne's "Perry Mason."

Norm MacDonald Starring In Something Called 'Vampire Dog'

This is real. Ace is a young bro who had it all until he commited the epic fail of throwing a drumstick into his teacher's dick. Then he inherited his gradfather from Transylvania's dog, Fang. Fang turns out to not only be a talking dog but also a vampire dog. Because they have those. What's most alarming about this movie is Norm MacDonald stars as the voice of Fang for some reason. The reason, of course, being that the f*&^ing Cavs couldn't cover the f&^*ing spread! Available from E1 Entertainment on DVD September 25th.

A Fun Shot-For-Shot Remake Of 'Top Gun'

Iceman was gay. There. I said it. Everyone likes Top Gun. Except the anonymous fighter pilots who flew on behalf of an indeterminate evil country, somewhere over the Indian Ocean...present day. However, Tom Cruise's couch jumping and general weirdness may have tainted one of the defining cinematic works of not only the 1980's, but maybe the entire Cold War. That's right. I'm lumping Top Gun in with The Godfather, Dr. Strangelove, and many other far better films. So, without Tom Cruise's pervasive taint, we offer the final dog fight of Top Gun, with Cruise Control intact. Oh, and it's homemade, or, as we like to call it, "artisanal."

James Franco Now Available In Straight To Video Form

James Franco doesn't have enough of your attention yet. It's been a while since anything's been heard from actor/writer/student/professor of Egyptology James Franco, presumably because he's been trotting the globe on his latest adventure. Or maybe he was just working on Shadows & Lies. Here's what it's all about, Francophiles: "Franco plays William Vincent, a quiet and mysterious criminal. When he falls for a New York gangster’s (Josh Lucas) favorite call girl (Julianne Nicholson), Vincent is forced to flee the city, threatened with death if he should ever return. But after four years in exile, Vincent secretly returns intent on rescuing the woman he loves from her dangerous fate." Sounds pretty cool. The movie is coming out on DVD, Blu-ray, and VOD on June 7, but you can see a clip from the movie above. Enjoy, because Franco just doesn't have enough of your attention yet. (Film School Rejects)

Zombie 'Call Of Duty' Gives "Brains" To George Romero

There are a lot of zombie video games out there, but few with Danny Trejo, Sarah Michelle Gellar and a killable George Romero. Check out the trailer. There are a lot of zombie video games out there. How do you differentiate yourself? You release a kickass, movie-esque viral trailer. Oh, that's already been done? Well... uh... it'll work again. Call Of Duty: Black Ops Escalation--Call of the Dead is an add-on that lets you play a zombie-killing game starring Danny Trejo, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michael Rooke and Robert Englund. They released a fun, Grindhouse-style trailer above, complete with retro titles, film burn effect and a voice over that sounds right on the zombie money. George Romero stars as a zombie boss, which I guess is a nice homage to the genre creator, although... I dunno. It'd be like playing a Star Wars game where a main boss is George Lucas. Hilarious, but anti-climactic, cause it takes you out of the game. Still, there's the catharsis factor.
