'Colombiana' Training With A Navy Sea

In order to be more like Zoe Saldana’s hot assassin character in Colombiana, America Young went through "assassin training" at the same training center where Zoe learned her moves. Does she pass, or end up getting water boarded? Watch for yourself and find out. Colombiana is available on Blu-ray and DVD 12/20.

See A Trailer For ‘Colombiana’ And Try To Figure It Out

A mystery, wrapped in an enigma, ensconced in a trailer. Here's the trailer for Colombiana, starring Zoe Saldana. It appears to be a revenge movie, and this trailer is taking revenge on my eyes. It's a huge dose of sensory overload, but I'm digging it all the same. And as if the trailer weren't evidence enough that it's going to be a stylish thriller, it's produced by Luc Besson. So yeah, it should be "cool," at the very least. Here's a plot synopsis: 'Colombiana' is set in Latin America and the U.S. Saldana would play a young woman who, after witnessing her parents’ murder as a child in Bogota, grows up to be a stone-cold assassin. She works for her uncle as a hitman by day, but her personal time is spent engaging in vigilante murders that she hopes will lead her to her ultimate target: the mobster responsible for her parents’ death. Trailer's cool, so movie might be good too. I'll probably be there.

Learn To Say 'I Am Groot' In 15 Langauges With This 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Blu-Ray Feature

Groot's pretty well-spoken for a tree person. If you fall into both the camps of "international traveler" and "huge comic book movie fan," then we've got something that will knock your socks off. This fun feature from Guardians of the Galaxy teaches you how to say Groot's most famous, and only, line in a variety of tongues. "I am Groot."  So while it won't get you any closer to finding a bathroom, or reasoning with your kidnappers, it will make you a hit with that Brazilian girl at a house party, assuming she knows who the hell Groot is. Otherwise, she'll probably just think you're weird. (Vulture)

The 'Hitman: Agent 47' Trailer is Here Because We Learned Nothing From the Original 'Hitman'

Someone put a bullet in this franchise already. "He’s stronger, faster, more intelligent than other people." So sayeth Spock (Zachary Quinto) about midway through the first trailer for Hitman: Agent 47, a.k.a the reboot of the movie no one wanted to see when it starred someone we actually knew back in 2007. Clearly, Quinto was not referring to anyone involved in this ill-conceived remake while delivering that horrible line of dialogue, as the trailer for Agent 47 manages to cram more cliches into two and a half minutes than its box office bomb of a predecessor was able to do in an hour and a half. A slow motion, CGI gunfight set to one of today's most popular songs? Check. A woman swimming topless in a pool? Check. Oh, and did I mention that Zachary Quinto delivers the line "He’s stronger, faster, more intelligent than other people" with 100% seriousness? Because yeah, that too. Check out the trailer for Hitman: Agent 47 above. It looks like a pile of sh*t, but plenty of things 'splode in it.

'Looper' Celebrates Blu-ray And DVD With This New Trailer

Bring home last year's best sci-fi film. If you haven't seen Looper yet, now's your chance. To promote Rian Johnson's trippy, futuristic action thriller Looper, the folks at Sony put together this new "mashup" trailer that takes you on a ride through the film's exciting moments. In the future, time travel will be invented - but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a "looper" - a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) - is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good... until the day the mob decides to "close the loop," sending back Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels also star. Looper is available now on Blu-ray and DVD with 17 deleted scenes on the Blu-ray exclusive, making-of featurettes and feature commentary.

Boo Boo Assassinates Yogi Like a Boss

In this alleged alternate ending to Yogi Bear, America’s favorite forest-dwelling picnic enthusiast is recast in the form of a troubled outlaw with a hankering for sweet, sweet death. Few things represent a more perfect blend of morbidity, humor, and the corruption of one’s childhood memories than watching cartoon characters kill each other. In this alleged alternate ending to Yogi Bear, America’s favorite forest-dwelling picnic enthusiast is recast in the form of a troubled outlaw with a hankering for sweet, sweet death. Young Boo Boo, the Robert Ford to Yogi’s Jesse James, is there to deliver Yogi unto his maker. In case you’re behind on your westerns, the clip is a parody of the acclaimed 2007 film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. And while comedia Paul Scheer is telling everyone that this is a genuine alternate ending to Yogi Bear, in reality the parody is the work of rogue animator Edmund Earle, whose name appears at the end of the clip. Bravo, Mr. Earle. Now make Tangled a story about a girl dealing with teenage pregnancy. (SlashFilm)

A Makeover, Yoda Got, For 'The Phantom Menace' Blu-Ray

George Lucas couldn't just leave it alone. Despite claims that they wouldn't f*ck around and add anything to the new Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace Blu-Ray, George Lucas just couldn't resist giving Yoda a little work. However, in this case, LucasFilm has improved upon the original version. In the clip above you'll see the crappy Yoda puppet used initially has been swapped out for CG Yoda. Looks much better and allows more consistency throughout the prequels. Now, if only they'd do something about the Mars Guo puppet that crashes and burns around the 4:33 mark in the video below. What is that thing? rubber chicken with a belt across its eyes?? (via /Film)

The Perfect Assassin Just Wants To Be A Normal Teenager In 'Barely Lethal' Trailer

Guns in high school. This one shouldn't be a tough sell. Fanboys director Kyle Newman brings us Barely Lethal, a movie about a group of orphan girls are turned into a squad of elite killers by Samuel L. Jackson, who insists they have no attachments. But when Assassin #83 yearns for a normal teenage life, she escapes the compound and hides out at a high school. There she navigates cliques, crushes, and the international terrorists that want to see her die slowly. The film doesn't have a US release date yet, probably due to the fact that it promotes gun violence in high school. And I can see that point. But, I also see Samuel L. Jackson wearing this hilarious disguise and I am SOLD.
