Clint Eastwood's 'Hereafter' Trailer Features Matt Damon and Tsunamis

Warner Bros has dropped the new trailer for Clint Eastwood's Hereafter. It tells the story of three people who are haunted by mortality in different ways. One of them is Matt Damon, who talks to the dead. Another is French journalist, who has a near death experience by almost drowning. And the last is a London schoolboy, who loses someone close to him and wants answers. He asks Damon for help and gets yelled at. Don't you know that the power he possesses is a curse, not a gift?! Scram, Kid! Aw, don't worry. I'm sure he'll eventually contact his dead whomever for him. Hereafter materializes in theaters October 22, 2010. Check out the trailer after the jump... 'Jersey Boys' Trailer: Clint Eastwood Goes Every Which Broadway But Loose

Who knew The Four Seasons were gangsta? Although all we really wanna see is him co-star with an orangutan again, Clint Eastwood took time out of protecting his lawn to turn the Broadway hit Jersey Boys into a movie your mom can take your grandma to see. The film centers on the rise and fall of the Four Seasons with Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young also making the jump to the screen as Frankie Valli, the peepee-dancing falsetto that makes the girls swoon with his high-pitched womanly voice. Christopher Walken also stars as the mafia boss who served as the band's consigliere and recommended which songs did and did not require cowbell.

'The Martian' Trailer: Matt Damon Burning Out His Fuse Up There Alone

An edge of your seat thriller about doing science. In The Martian, Matt Damon once again plays an astronaut left stranded with little hope of rescue. But this time he's pretty likable and far less murder-y. During a space station evacuation, an accident strands Damon's Mark Watney on Mars which, according to TripAdvisor, is impossible to survive. With his chances slim, he sets out to make Mars habitable for the for years it will take rescue to arrive. Meanwhile, we're also told the story of his crew mates who risk their lives to save him. Which makes me feel pretty bad. I won't even help my co-workers get a cab.

Extended 'Elysium' Trailer: Matt Damon Has Cool Bullets

Eat your heart out, Judge Dredd. Eat your heart out, Judge Dredd. The more that we see, the more it looks like Elysium will probably be this summer's best movie. Matt Damon stars as a guy trying to stay out of trouble on Shitty Future Earth who has to resort to extreme measures when an industrial accident leaves him with only five days to live. Those extreme measures involve an exoskeleton, explode-y bullets, and breaking into Rich Person Space Station Land where they have cures for every disease just laying around. Too bad for them there is no cure for Matt Damon shoving a gun down their throat.

Cyborg Matt Damon Fights For The 99 Percent In 'Elysium' Trailer

This new look at Elysium focuses less on how awesome the space city of Elysium is and more on the events that cause Matt Damon to have a badass exoskeleton grafted onto his body. It ranks between the ill-advised plastic surgery victim and Greg Kinnear's conjoined twin on the scale of Matt Damon screen transformations. This trailer also features previously unseen footage of robot cops being complete dicks. I can't wait to see Matt Damon running around in outer space ripping their mechanical heads off.

'Ash Vs. The Evil Dead' Trailer Is The Good Kind Of Crazy

Bruce Campbell at his best. You know that creepy, one-handed old guy that works at the local department store who regularly uses the word 'groovy' and you suspect of wearing a girdle? Yeah. Well, turns out that he's our only line of defense against evil demons who've returned from Hell and are massacring everyone in town. And he does wear a girdle. The first trailer for Starz's Ash vs. The Evil Dead is here and it looks to perfectly capture the insanity that is the Evil Dead films. There's all the gore, splatter, and comedy you would expect on what looks like a budget you didn't expect. That's to say, it translates perfectly to the small screen. It looks like the most fun Bruce Campbell project since the last Bruce Campbell project.

New Trailer For ‘X-Men: First Class’ Has Actual New Material

Mutants! Check out a new trailer for X-Men: First Class. And unlike some of the previous X-Men: First Class trailers, this one actually has a lot of new and cool stuff. We get more of an idea of the plot, which has the X-Men working with US government against commies in some, presumably ass-kicking, capacity. There's also a glimpse of Hank McCoy's transformation into The Beast, and some other stuff too. I'd provide my readers with more of my insightful commentary but instead I'll leave some of the surprises of the trailer for you to discover. You're welcome!

Supercut Of Thomas The Tank Engine Crashes Set To Drowning Pool's 'Bodies'

This is the best use of this song outside of the Jason X trailer. Apparently this supercut of collisions from Thomas & Friends set to Drowning Pool's "Bodies" has been online for over two years. Which means, it's not totally current but new to me so f*ck it, I'm posting anyway because it is pure joy. Secondly, what the hell guys? Did you know this was out there and you didn't think to share? Why did you stand in between me and pure joy? We need some time away from each other. Who knew that this show was so much f*cking mayhem? I'm calling it now, this is the best use of this song outside of the Jason X trailer. (Laughing Squid)

The 'Peanuts' Trailer Brings Us Grief, But Not The Good Kind

I would say they're ruining my childhood, but I credit my ruined childhood to lots of different sources. We've got a 60-second teaser for Peanuts, the Charlie Brown-centric film that will include all the anthropomorphic dogs, lesbians, dirt-covered children, and malevolent, vindictive girls that we grew to love in the comic strip. It seems a little more spirited than the TV specials, which is a pretty easy feat, considering the characters in those ambled about as though they had a grapefruit-sized lithium suppository crammed inside them. Other than that, expect perhaps a little attitude from Snoopy. I would also expect a Snoop Dogg cameo, but, then again, I'm always expecting a Snoop Dogg cameo. I was surprised I didn't get one in Blackfish.
