'Boardwalk Empire' Season 2 Teaser Will Ruin You

Nucky Thompson will have his revenge. [post-album postid="217973" item="1"] HBO has dropped a teaser for the second season of their critically acclaimed prohibition era drama, Boardwalk Empire. If you were disappointed that last season didn't have enough machine gun wielding Klansmen in it, your prayers have been answered. In addition to the KKK, all of your favorites are back, including a super pissed Nucky Thompson, Agent Van Alden looking pensive one moment and furious the next, Al Capone, Chalky White, and the creepy sniper with the half-face who we can't help but adore. If I were a gambling man, I'd say some nefarious activity is going to get underway next season. Maybe even gambling.

Everyone Wants A Piece Of Nucky In The 'Boardwalk Empire' Promo

Nucky Thompson gets swarmed with people like he's Hannah Montana up in this piece. While I'm not sure this qualifies as a "teaser," the newest Boardwalk Empire promo from HBO certainly doesn't offer us too much in the way of plot development that we couldn't already assume on our own: Nucky struts down the street like he owns the place because he sorta does, however the mood quickly goes from jovial to abject dread, as he crosses paths with well-wishers and sketchballs alike before meeting the gaze of Ms. Schroeder. We're reacquainted with most every player in the story, as most of them lived though the first season, but I get the feeling that not everyone is long for this world. This being a cable drama, everyone has their favorite character, and I gotta say that mine is Chalky White. You take Omar from The Wire and dress him up like Andre 3000. Anyone who doesn't like that can get the hell out of my country. HBO takes us back to AC on September 25th. Hopefully the painfully deliberate pacing will pay off out of the gate.

Terence Winter Discusses 'Boardwalk Empire' Season 2: (Spoiler Alert) More Conflict!

Disguised as a "set tour," this is really just a rundown of what we can expect next year. "Boardwalk Empire" fans will definitely want to watch this video. Creator Terence Winter discusses not only the obvious season 2 plotline continuations that I'm not going to share here (watch the damn DVD's already so I can!) but also the overarching themes for the next season. Namely, "family." [post-album postid="209987" item="1"]Those who watched the first season are aware of how much family plays a role in virtually every character's life. Nucky and Eli are at odds in more ways than one, Jimmy deals with the fallout from his family situation, and it's safe to assume that there will be a new character or two introduced that will undoubtedly make life difficult for the criminals and whores in this family drama. Winter doesn't say anything about the greatest character on the show, Chalky White (played by Michael Kenneth Williams). Gee, you think you might want to highlight a character that is as cool as Omar from "The Wire" but dresses like Andre 3000? you think people wanna hear about that guy, genius? Sorry to get so salty. I just love Chalky White.

Cold Winds Are Rising: 'Game Of Thrones' Teaser Trailer

The bitch is back. Tonight, for a brief moment, I was saddened by the fact that season two of Boardwalk Empire was drawing to a close. But as much as I love the show, the new teaser trailer for the second season of Game of Thrones made me forget all about Nucky Thompson and his prohibition-ear cronies. After all, bootlegging gangsters don't hold a candle to knights, White Walkers, and newly hatched dragons. Upon rereading that last sentence, I finally understand why I didn't get laid until my late 20's. At any rate, the trailer features a voice over from a new character, Stannis Baratheon, rightful heir to the Iron Throne. It also features all your old favorites, as well as your least favorite, Joffrey. However, the clip featured no exposed breasts, which seems to be a drastic departure from season one. Watch for yourself.

'The Empire Strikes Back' Reveal Shocks This Little Kid

I don't want to give it away, but someone is someone else's father, and this kid just can't believe it. This kid cannot BELIEVE what is going on at the end of The Empire Strikes Back. If you look carefully, you can see him emote virtually every human emotion on the spectrum. The sister seems initially as shocked as her brother does, but quickly picks her jaw up off the floor, unlike her flabbergasted sibling. No wonder the mom or dad whipped out the video camera for this thing. Seeing Star Wars (and Empire and Jedi) for the first time is a seminal moment in anyone's life, but the fact that this little moppet was rocking a Daily Bugle t-shirt leads me to believe that he might like this type of thing more than most. I'll bet you even money this kid shits himself when he watches The Sixth Sense for the first time.

New 'Puss In Boots' Teaser And Poster Has Adorable Kitty Action

It's like a 'Shrek' movie but without 'Shrek'. The DreamWorks Animation Shrek spin-off Puss In Boots dares to be a mainstream kids' movie with the word "Puss" in the title. I dunno, it just looks off to me. Anyway, here's a new teaser trailer, which opens with an homage to the Inception trailer and closes with a cat stunt-riding a horse. Why not? There's also a new poster which you can see below. The thing that strikes me about the poster is the tagline, "Pray for Mercy." Kind of a dark tagline for a kids' movie, isn't it? Maybe they're going for a Princess Bride vibe or something. The movie, starring Antonio Banderes, is set for a November 4 release .(via ComingSoon)

'Game Of Thrones' Second Season Teaser

"You win or you die." Is this about Words With Friends? HBO had a surprise hit on their hands last year with Game of Thrones, presumably due to all the nudity and decapitations HBO is famous for providing its viewers. And they're doing the smart thing and not letting anybody see any beheadings for free, if this new teaser that just premiered is any indication. Still, you might be into it if you like the show. Enjoy, and try not to speak with a British accent for the rest of the day - unless you actually are British, of course.
