3/27/09 | SOUTH PARK'S 13 MOST TWISTED KENNY KILLS Personally I would've liked to see the death where Kenny eats a bowl of antacid tablets, drinks a glass of water, and explodes, after which the other boys giggle and Stan comments "That was a good one!"
3/17/09 | The Top 7 Heroes who Need to Die As much as it pains me to say it, you're right. The Heroes writers have put their characters through so much shit by now that they really need to dump a few of the originals (Claire, Hiro, Mohinder, Sylar) and focus on some of the interesting newcomers (Daphne springs to mind). There's still room for a lot of the characters who have been there from the beginning to develop further, but the writers just never do it. The sad thing is that Heroes has the capacity to be so much darker and more gripping than it is now-- I'm envisioning a future in which Claire dies, driving HRG to become an all-out villain, Parkman battling the temptation to use his powers like Maury, etc. All they've delivered so far is Nathan working for Arthur, which hardly cuts it.
(They also need to stop re-using powers over and over again, but that's an entirely different rant. We need a "Top Five Overused Superpowers" list, but that's another story...)
