November 11th, 2009 at 04:57 pm this is total crap they take all the good shows off and replace it with CRAP. that's a nice way to stay in business
November 13th, 2009 at 09:37 am too bad dollhouse wasn't a good show.
November 14th, 2009 at 01:42 pm Dollhouse is a show with so many plot lines and hidden surprises that it is not only incredible, but very deep. A characteristic todays mindless one plot line society cant handle. It is those unintelligent people who want to cancel it, or who think its not a good show.
December 4th, 2009 at 10:17 pm Dollhouse was a good idea that never really materialized. Totally mis-cast, across the board. Eliza is beautiful but she can't act her way out of paper bag. The gentleman who portrays the "whiz kid" running the dollhouse would never be confused with someone even marginally intelligent, on the show or in real life. His complete lack of acting talent is painful in every scene. The one bright spot was the scarred female doctor who can really act, and who is drop dead beautiful [hence the scars, which must have been an equilizer for poor Eliza]. The script was unbelievable and just kept getting worse, and worse. Poor Fox, I wonder how much money Wheadon made and how much they lost, from this horrible show?
December 5th, 2009 at 10:00 am The reason Wheadon took the Cancellation "Like a Champ" is because he was paid "big time" money "up front" by Fox for crap that nobody else would pay for. After cashing his paycheck his interest was focused on other projects. The ugly truth is, the concept behind "DOLLHOUSE" would have required a motivated and talented director/producer, well written scripts, and of course talented actors. It had none of these and the fact that it "earned" a second season was a desperate move by Wheadon playing his last bit of influence at the network. This move probably killed any chance Wheadon ever has of getting another TV pilot picked up. Funny how the networks won't forget these kind of things, and everyone has finally realized that Buffy was the exception, not the rule.
