First Two Webisodes of The Gemini Division Hit the Web

I have a huge crush on Rosario Dawson. There's something about her smile that's absolutely irresistable. I think it has something to do with its close proximity to her chest. NBC is giving us all a chance to spend some quality time with Rosario in a web-only sci-fi series called The Gemini Division. It reminds me a lot of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, in that it's done in the style of a video diary. Think Cloverfield, only less shaky and, at least so far, less interesting.

The first two episodes don't really have much on the sci-fi tip. It's mostly just Rosario talking to the camera about her romantic vacation with her boyfriend. There are some less than obvious hints that the boyfriend is going to turn out to be some kind of robot or alien or something, but other than that, it's kind of boring. I'll keep watching it, because it's free and because it's better than actually doing my real job, but if some stuff doesn't start happening soon, I'll just go back to watching that monkey pee into his own mouth on Youtube. That never gets old.

What's interesting is that this whole webisode concept is really at a pretty critical juncture. It's obvious that this Gemini Division thing cost them a substantial sum of money, so if it doesn't perform, we might start seeing less of these before they even take off. Unless, of course, they give that peeing monkey a show. Now that, I'll watch.
