People aren't offended because you're making fun of the way this guy cries.... Clearly it's a little comical. But taken in the context this moment is for the man and what I can only guess is his son, and how he's probably only crying like this because of how destroyed his mind is. I think the person who posted this only to make a joke out of it is probably going to hell.

People really found this to be funny??? If you watched the episode, you'd see it was pretty terrible stuff. Regardless of the circumstances, you have a young man who grew up fatherless because of this father's demons and is finally getting to opportunity to speak with his father for the first time in many years. You have a father who one would suspect realizes how he has failed his children and has just heard his son say that he hates him so much for what he is and for what he was not, then hears him say that there is still a part of him that loves him. Hilarious stuff!!!! Seriously???? Absolutely love stupid, funny videos. This one just doesn't fall anywhere close to being in that category. I would guarantee whoever posted this in a "funny" category has some serious skeletons in their own closet.

Many scenes from films and tv shows are humorous when taken out of context. Ever walked into the middle of a dramatic film that you know is really really good with great acting, but because you weren't watching it from the beginning (getting drawn in as it goes along) it just seems plain funny?

ONE WORD - CONTEXT. Sure the show was meant to be sad, but this small edited clip does not demonstrate the show's story arc. You're getting a clip that looks completely ridiculous and WTF'd but that's because it's completely out of context. I never watched this show and my first reaction was WTF??? Not, oh, he's a crack head who's lost everything and that's why he sounds like that. So if you saw the show, you may not think this is funny because you know the context of it. If you never saw the show, this may be completely hilarious because it's completely out of context with no explanation of what is happening. Now you have both sides... now kiss and make up.
