That's right. It's the end of an era. No more headlines, no more Jaywalking, no more making fun of Kevin Eubanks virginity, night after night after night. It all ends tonight as Jay Leno steps down from the Tonight Show after a rockier-than-usual couple of years.

And up comes The Roots featuring Jimmy Fallon, allowing Leno to return to his original loves of cars and wearing denim shirts with jeans.

Fallon doesn't step up for a couple weeks, so maybe we'll be in for a treat with some vintage Leno in which he makes Bobbitt and Lance Ito jokes while making jokes about how much money Bill Gates has.

Goodbye, old friend.
