Thursday TV Preview

Thursday, March 12 by

Another highly dependable Thursday night of TV for you. New episodes of The Office and 30 Rock, whilst the best buddy cop movie of all time screens for you to switch back and forth during commericals. On that note, here’s some completely arbitrary information–did you know they used the f-word exactly 48 times in that movie? Your much more useful TV preview after the break.

The Office 9/8c on NBC

Last week, cupids arrows were in full force in Scranton as Michael encountered an enigmatic woman at a bloo drive, and Jim and Pam shared an uncomfortable lunch with Phylis and Bob Vance (of Vance Refrigeration). Tonight, office problems spread as when Michael (dressed as Willy Wonka!) suggests placing ‘golden tickets’ inside paper packages as discounts for clients. Elsewhere, Kevin sets out to woo a woman–so Andy Jim and Pam step up to give him (very different) pointers.

30 Rock 9.30/8.30c on NBC

Last week, Liz’s baby fever reached new heights when when she chummed up to a pregnant teenage staffer at a donut shop in order to adopt her baby. Tonight, when Liz is called in for jury duty, the unmanaged cast and crew of TGS wreaks havoc at 30 Rock. Meanwhile, Jack fails to heed the staffers when he grows obsessed with launching a new big-money product.

48 Hrs. 8/7c on AMC

  • Reggie: Jack…Tell me a story.
  • Jack: !@#$ You!
  • Reggie: Oh, that’s one of my favorites.

Murph and Nolte at their finest.
