Before you dress up as Gambit for the midnight screening of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, be sure not to miss your favorite night of TV. Tonight, Ms Knope goes head-to-head with an ‘Old Boys Club’, there’s an interesting casual friday at the Office, Tracy Jordan tries to become more mature (see above), and the LA po-po try and track down the identity of a body that the crips and/or bloods used for target practice. Check out a full preview after the break (now with extra Creed Bratton!)
Last week, Leslie invited a reporter to cover her park project, but the resulting article wasn’t what she had in mind. Meanwhile, Tom sucked up to Ron. Tonight, Leslie faces an ethical dilemma when she tries to break into the "old boys’ club" of politics. Elsewhere, Andy (Chris Pratt) plans a surprise for Ann.
Tonight, a conflict erupts in the new sales group, with mediator Michael landing square in the middle of the dispute. In other developments the office drones take a relaxed attitude to new heights during "casual Friday."
Last week, Jack and Elisa (Salma Hayek) considered taking their romance to the next level, so Jack shopped around for an engagement ring, with Liz in tow. Jack also sought wisdom about the realities of marriage and consults a very unlikely person—Tracy. Meanwhile, a prank went awry at "TGS," resulting in an injury and a gushing Jenna’s encounter with a sightly emergency responder. Tonight, Liz chides Tracy in front of the staffers, which compels Tracy to become more professional and mature. He forfeits all special treatment—but he feels that Liz should do the same. Meanwhile, Jack’s tormenting mother (Elaine Stritch) arrives, only to dig up nasty memories about Jack’s father. And Jenna adopts a monkey. Steve Buscemi guest stars.
Last week, Sherman opened up about his past, making it clear to Cooper why he joined the force. Dewey (C. Thomas Howell) fawned over a famous actor (Tom Sizemore) in trouble with the law. And Chickie regreted taking Dewey on as a partner after he failed to keep track of the celeb criminal. Tonight, Moretta and Bryant try to track down the identity of a woman whose dead body was being used for target practice by gang members. Meanwhile, Moretta’s younger sister disappears, revealing clues about his past. And Lydia offends Clarke when she criticizes his methods.
