Good news, BOILS and GHOULS! Thanks to the success of gory shows like The Walking Dead, an updated version of Tales From The Crypt is in the works. What kind of scrape will Corey Feldman find himself in this time?

Gil Adler, the producer of the HBO series, and Andrew Cosby, co-creator of Eureka, are teaming up to create a new adaptation of the genre comic. Though, you shouldn't expect to see what you saw on HBO. The new series will be neither anthological or related to the HBO series. "It will be an ongoing series that uses characters from the comic books in a more modern context," Cosby said. "It's all about continually elevating the genre, for both existing fans of the source material and mainstream audiences."

Does that mean no more Crypt Keeper? Aw man, you've gotta keep the Crypt Keeper. If Tony Todd is allowed a comeback, the Crypt Keeper should have one as well. (DEADline)
