Many fans of horror writer/creep Stephen King's work have compared it to the AMC original series"The Walking Dead." This could be partly because the man behind that show, Frank Darabont, is famous for adapting King's work for the small screen (The Shawshank Redemption is just one example). The news comes from actress Laurie Holden, who spilled the news that King is in talks to write an episode of the series, which will probably involve zombies.

"The Walking Dead" was a surprise hit when it premiered last fall, so it's safe to say this isn't some publicity stunt. King must be a fan of the show, which means this could be a pretty exciting prospect. And hey, it keeps Stephen King off the streets for a couple more weeks. That can't be anything but worthwhile.
