HBO has in its pipeline a documentary called An Apology to Elephants. Oof. Just judging from that title, you can tell this thing won't be friendly to a firm that uses elephant for entertainment purposes.

And judging by Ringling Bros claims that the HBO doc is "one-sided," you would be totally correct. Variety is reporting that HBO initially wished to discuss with Feld, the parent company of the circus, their involvement in both conservation, as well as the use of elephants in their circus. However, they later scrapped that plan, telling Feld that they didn't want to focus on the conservation issue, presumably just the nasty stuff.

The circus spokesman claimed that HBO may "clearly have an anti-circus political agenda."

But where do they stand on capades, both ice and regular?
