First of all, the character Mike is Jimmy's cousin, not brother. Secondly, the reviewer talks about how the characters are so unredeeming...was he watching the same show I did? You can actually see that the characters truly care for each, and are good hearted people trying to work towards their dreams. The parents of Jimmy are reluctant to take on the responsibility of their new granddaughter, but eventually they soften and realize helping to raise this baby can be a good thing. Hilarious flashbacks reveal the mistakes the young parents made along the way raising their son, so the new baby gives them a second chance, as well as someone who will look up to semi-slacker Jimmy. This show is very well written, extremely funny, and has fun and likable characters. I "hope" the network gives this show a "chance", and it's around for a very long time!
