With Under the Dome slated for a second series of 13 episodes, it's a surprise that Dean Norris has the time to run off and just go play a founding father all willy-nilly, but I have to remember sometimes that acting is NOT HARD WORK.

Because it's so easy (for all actors, not just Norris), he's going to slide right over to the History Channel for the six-part miniseries Sons of Liberty, which tells the story of the birth of this nation, and probably has a wig budget bigger than my annual salary. The actual project will trace the origins of the quiet conspiracy against the British that eventually became the American revolution.

What's refreshing is that the History Channel will actually be showing something that has to do with history instead of tattoo parlors, pawn shops, rednecks, and fishermen.
