You just know his wife would call him "Connie," and it was adorable.

One of the few men in the world who may have known what Willis was talkin ’bout passed today – Conrad Bain, TV’s sage Mr. Drummond on Diff’rent Strokes died today. He was 89. Though he had a long career as an actor, Bain didn’t really achieve any stardom until his turn as the benevolent, patient, and wise Mr. Drummond, which he reprised on episodes of The Facts of Life and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

It’s not known what Conrad Bain died of, so let’s all just conclude that he died from being 89 years old.

Hmmm. What else?

He had a twin brother named Bonar, which is an awesome first-last name combo even it’s not pronounced “boner.”

He was born in Canada, too. Gary Coleman was raised by a Canadian.
