That was the general feeling in Fairfield, CT last night as 911 was inundated with calls from cable subscribers angry about missing Breaking Bad after a cable outage. The local police, however, weren't amused and posted the following message on their Facebook page, “We are receiving numerous 911 calls regarding the Cablevision outage. This is neither an emergency or a police related concern. Please direct your inquiries to Cablevision. Misuse of the 911 system may result in an arrest."

But you have to assume if the cable is out, the internet would also be out so that message probably didn't reach anybody. Nice work, detectives. (Daily Mail)
