Underwhelmed with the performance of its Thursday night line up, NBC execs have decided to shake things up schedule-wise. While this is often done with no shows that are trying to find their home, Parks and Recreation is in its fifth season, and has only aired on Thursday nights since premiering, so I'm not entirely sure what this exercise is about in that regard.

How are they filling the next two Thursday-night hours? The Voice, of course. I'm guessing that the Peacock network is hoping that the voice will provide a more solid lead-in for its fledgling shows. I guess some good news here is that Community is coming back during this time, but the bad news would be that NBC folks can't exactly understand why people might want to watch both shows at the same time.

Anyway, let's all gear up for the Parks Halloween episode, right before Thanksgiving.
