NBC Makes Steve Carell Stay 20 Minutes Later On His Last Day

As you may have heard, Steve Carell is departing”The Office,” where his portrayal of Michael Scott has been an inspiration to dimwitted boobs everywhere. And NBC is wringing everything they can out of the occasion, including making the guy stay late on his last day by “Super-Sizing” his last episode, which will run for 50 minutes on April 28th.

NBC is right to promote the shit out of this, particularly since there is a concern that your average viewer might confuse this with the season finale, which is being kept separate for some reason, presumably to tease us more about who his eventual replacement will be. Expect to see lots of commercials to the effect of “THIS ISN’T THE LAST ONE, KEEP WATCHING AFTER THIS!!!” (Deadline)
