MTV Call Dibs On UK’s ‘Inbetweeners’. U-S-A!! U-S-A!!!

Thursday, March 31 by

MTV has saved a handful of awkward young male actors from a career of having to do American Pie spin-off films.

In a bid to draw the ire of pretentious Anglophiles by slowly Americanizing every British series, the network has just green lighted a new version of “Inbetweeners” to series. Based on the hit UK series of the same name, the series stars Joey Pollari (Avalon High), Bubba Lewis (To Save a Life), The Virginity Hit star Zack Pearlman and Mark L. Young (“Big Love“) as four young men too cool to be considered nerds and not cool enough to be considered bangable by their female classmates.

Sounds like a certain writing staff of a certain website that we’re all familiar with around here.  I’m looking in your direction, Ask.com. (Deadline)
