Soon it will be okay to laugh at Fred Durst. It will be difficult, but it will be okay. The Limp Bizkit frontman turned film director has signed a deal with CBS to develop his own half-hour sitcom. Tentatively titled Douchebag, the show will star Durst as a rock legend trying to balance his star status with raising a family. Perhaps there is a wacky neighbor role for Korn's Jonathan Davis.

Elsewhere in Los Angeles, Marc Maron has just hung himself.

The idea was spearheaded by Durst's manager John Schneider, who also put a similar deal in place starring his brother Rob.
