‘From Dusk Til Dawn’ TV Show Will Star Don Johnson. Wait. What?

He's sheriff material, all right.

After a mild flirtation with relevance following last year’s appearance in Django Unchained, Don Johnson has managed to score himself a TV gig. An odd, odd TV gig. That’s non-Nash Bridges related.

Mr. Crockett will be playing Sheriff McGraw, who will have a secondary recurring role throughout the first season of the show, which runs 10 episodes. The From Dusk til Dawn TV show will be the flagship show on Robert Rodriguez’s new El Rey channel, and will follow more or less the same premise as the movie, without rehashing the territory the film did.

While the particulars of Johnson’s character aren’t disclosed, one can assume he will be evil, and we won’t find out about his evilness until at least the third episode, though, in hindsight, we won’t believe we missed all the clues.
