‘Eastbound And Down’ Will Be F#ckin’ Out After Third Season

Friday, March 11 by

America’s Pitcher Kenny Powers isn’t interested in becoming a fixture on your HBO screen. The star and creator of “Eastbound and Down,” Danny McBride and Jody Hill recently announced at “Paleyfest” in Los Angeles that their beloved program would not continue after the upcoming third season:

“We never really had an interest in turning the show into anything traditional,” McBride said. “We approach each season like it’s one long movie.”

Bad news for anyone who hoped to see”Eastbound and Down” eventually feature Kenny Powers performing a dangerous water skiing stunt or hang out with the Beach Boys. I guess this also means we won’t see a Kenny Powers movie. Is life even worth living anymore? (via TV Squad)
