It’s no surprise that Harmon a)didn’t like the show when he wasn’t able to be a part of it, and b)is very vocal about this dislike, but what is surprising is that he was able to only use one rape analogy in describing his thoughts on season 4.
In his Harmontown podcast, he offered up this nugget, “It’s exciting. There’s something exciting about being held down and watching your family get raped on a beach. It’s liberating. It makes you focus on what’s important.”
If you want to really get focused and liberated, pay someone to rape your family. Yup. Sounds like a Dan Harmon interview synopsis, all right.
