Fans of Community aren't just going to take the maybe cancellation of their favorite show lying down. No, sir. These are desperate times and they call for desperate measures. Desperately nerdy and ineffectual measures.

This afternoon in New York City, Community fans will descend upon Rockefeller Center to show NBC network brass (who are probably already on holiday vacation) just what's what by forming a flash mob. At 1pm today, a group will form together by the giant tree and sing a Christmas song FOR TWO MINUTES. Consider yourself occupied, NBC. We are the 99% of the 1% of people actually watch the show. And we're mad enough to sing for exactly two minutes.

Standby for reports of the show's renewal. (NY Daily News)
