Charlie Sheen's wise decision to check himself into rehab has a silver lining. Production has been shut down on "Two and a Half Men" until further notice. A grateful nation thanks you, Charlie Sheen. Sheen's publicist released this statement today:
"Charlie Sheen has voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center today.  He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern. (Mr. Sheen asks that his privacy be respected at this time and that no additional informational will be provided)."

Moments later, the show released this statement:
"Due to Charlie Sheen’s decision to enter a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing “Two and a Half Men” on production hiatus.  We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision."

Fortunately, Sheen's decision may not only save his life, but the life of his publicist, who had to be close to puttin' one through the ole' noggin' if they saw the one more reference to the phrases "coke-fueled" or "adult film" regarding their client. Sheen will need a strong support structure over the next few hours, because when he finds out there isn't any cocaine or hookers in rehab, let's face it, Sheen will probably want to leave.
