Rejoice, people who like the style and writing of CBS comedies! The Big Bang Theory, the overachieving show about nerds and...whatever it is that nerds do, will be gracing us with its presence for a few more years.

CBS picked up the show until 2016-17, and reportedly paid one of the highest licensing fees ever to get the show, around $5-6 million per episode. That's...pretty darn high, I would say.

In other CBS-Chuck Lorre news, the network is apparently in talks to offer him up 13 final episodes for Two and a Half Men to wrap up that story, even though the story of those 2.5 men could probably be resolved over the closing credits of the final episode.

So, in short, Chuck Lorre is making a ton of money these days. Nothing new.
