Okay, that "STAT" part may have been a bit misleading. No one's in a huge hurry here, but Cartoon Network is bringing the Childrens Hospital back for 14 more 15-minute episodes, for 210 minutes of delightfully absurd comedy.

Despite being a completely esoteric and goofy, the third season has found the show consistently winning its midnight timeslot, no small feat considering each episode appears to have been made for about seven dollars. This can probably be attributed to the murderers' row of talent they got signed on for the modest project, including Ken Marino, Rob Huebel, Rob Corddry, Lake Bell, Malin Akerman, Megan Mullally, and Henry Winkler.

Most recently, Childrens Hospital spun off a fake ad for a TV show entitled NTSF: SD: SUV, which actually garnered enough interest that it has become a real show. No renewal announced on that one yet, but it's a little earlier into its first season.

Arthur Childrens would be so proud. (Deadline)
