What's On TV Tonight: Tuesday, September 15th, 2009
Comedy Central dresses down Kanye, Lil Wayne makes zero sense, Shaq takes on an Olympic champ, and Tom Arnold makes a sex tape. We want to see tonight's programming far more than we do a Tom Arnold sex tape.
CHECK OUT WHAT TO WATCH AFTER THE JUMP
NOTE: ALL TIMES EASTERN & PACIFIC
BEHIND THE MUSIC: LIL WAYNE
Time: 8 - 9PM
Reasons to watch: VH1 takes a look inside the life of Wayne Carter. The hour-long special covers his rise to stardom, his marriage, weapons charges, his accidental self-inflicted shooting, and his addiction to cough syrup. Sure, he almost died and he pretty much forgot the English language but on the bright side, he'll never have a cold again.
Time: 9 - 10PM
Reasons to watch: Shaq takes Michael Phelps on in a swimming challenge. Phelps then shows O'Neal his 8 foot bong. O'Neal then shows Phelps his 8 foot -- oh, nevermind.
SOUTH PARK: FISHSTICKS
Network: Comedy Central
Time: 9 - 11PM
Reasons to watch: Comedy Central keeps it topical by showing the "Fishsticks" episode of South Park back-to-back-to-back-to-back tonight. The episode skewers Kanye and his many tantrums before unveiling him to be a gay fish. When it originally aired, it made the real Kanye evaluate his image and agree to work on his public brattery. His apology seemed heartfelt then too but now it seems to have been just as auto-tuned as his singing voice.
Time: 9 - 11PM
Reasons to watch: This dopey, implausible teen sex romp is actually better than a lot of those other dopey, implausible teen sex romps. But should you watch it? That all depends on whether or not "diminished expectations" falls into your plus or minus column.
SONS OF ANARCHY
Time: 10 - 11PM
Reasons to watch: Tom Arnold guest stars as a sleazy porn producer. This is awesome casting. We can't explain the affinity but we'll watch him in anything. Well, anything but The Stupids.
