Reasons to watch: Mike Epps hosts BET’s biggest night. Not to be confused with Hip Hop Honors. Or the Source Awards. Or the Hip-Hop World Awards. Or the Vibe Awards. This is its own thing.
 
IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN
Network: ABC
Time: 8 – 9PM
 
Reasons to watch: ABC sticks to tradition with their annual showing of the Great Pumpkin. And I plan to stick to my Halloween tradition of dressing as The Snake Charmer. Ladies, you are powerless against my boner-inducing flute.
 
HALLOWEEN 4 / HALLOWEEN 5
Network: AMC
Time: 8PM – Midnight
 
Reasons to watch: You can pretty much catch an airing of Halloween 4 or Halloween 5 at any time, any day on AMC. It’s as if that and Death Wish 3 are the only movies they own. So guess what they’re showing as October 31st approaches. Hint: Not Death Wish 3.
 
2009 SCREAM AWARDS

Reasons to watch: Spike uses an entire awards show as an excuse to get Megan Fox to wear a low-cut dress. Very shrewd Spike. I see what you did there and admire your costly tactics.

Time: 11PM – Midnight
 
Reasons to watch: The Coen Brothers whoop it up with Charlie Rose in what is likely to be the crunkest thing on TV tonight. Yes, that includes the Hip Hop Awards.
