NOTE: ALL TIMES EASTERN & PACIFIC!!!

NBC COMEDY THURSDAY
Network: NBC
Time: 8 – 10PM

Reasons to watch: NBC rolls out their big comedy premieres with new episodes of SNL Weekend Update Thursday, Parks and Recreation, The Office, and Community. Finally there is something to laugh at other than Kanye West.

SURVIVOR: SAMOA
Network: CBS
Time: 8 – 9PM

Reasons to watch: Survivor enters its 19th season tonight by dropping the castaways on the island nation of Samoa. Hopefully the challenges don’t involv fighting any actual Samoans. If wrestling and episodes of Nash Bridges have taught me anything, it is that Samoans are nigh-invulnerable. Our bullets and blades have no effect on them.

SUGAR MUMMIES
Network: BBC
Time: 8 – 9PM

Reasons to watch: This BBC documentary takes a look at relationships in which the woman is significantly older than the man. Say what you will but please don’t make any crude jokes. That’s somebody’s nana that you’re talking about.

FRINGE
Network: FOX
Time: 9 – 10PM

Reasons to watch: The freaky-deaky pseudoscience procedural returns with the group coming under congressional scrutiny. Oh yeah. Sure. Like members of Congress have never experimented on a cow. Hypocrites.

IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA
Network: FX
Time: 10 – 11PM

Reasons to watch: Tonight’s premiere is entitled, "The Gang Exploits the Mortgage Crisis." Not only do they steal foreclosed homes from squatters but they also rent out womb space. Seems drastic, but bear in mind that a healthy woman’s womb is probably bigger than most studio apartments in the Philadelphia area.
