WHAT'S ON TV TONIGHT: THURSDAY, AUGUST 27th, 2009
Werewolves, a Coen Bros classic, and MTV's Guy Block. The 15 year-old me is LOVING tonight's TV Preview (as is the modern-day me).
CHECK OUT WHAT TO WATCH AFTER THE JUMP
NOTE: ALL TIMES EASTERN AND PACIFIC!!!
Time: 8 - 10PM
Reasons to watch: The Coen Brothers really nailed it with this story about a nebbish writer wrestling with writer's block and John Goodman.
ROB DYRDEK'S FANTASY FACTORY
Time: 9 - 9:30PM
Reasons to watch: Check out the Season 2 premiere of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory, a show that banks on the likelihood of Dyrdek doing something really stupid and/or dangerous. Plus kick-ass bulldog companions abound!
Time: 9:30 - 10PM
Reasons to watch: The revenge-fantasy show returns. Watch your most hated high-school antagonists meet their MMA matches. O'Doyle does not rule in the Octagon of life.
Time: 9:30 - 11PM
Reasons to watch: We can't speak to the quality of this biker-werewolf movie. Mostly because it doesn't contain any quality. Unless of course you consider Rhona Mitra and Sarah Carter as quality. And I do.
Time: 10 - 10:30PM
Reasons to watch: The daredevils of Nitro Circus put their lives in danger for your enjoyment. It's as if "Jackass" were put on wheels and turned into an officially sanctioned sport.
Time: 10:30 - 11PM
Time: 10:30 - 11PM
Reasons to watch: Watch pantaloon-crappingly funny japes pulled by amateur mountebanks on the new MTV show, "Pranked!" This show is designed to tickle your manly bone, which is different from an erection. They have pay-per-view and 99% of the internet for tickling that.
